  We were very satisfied with our stay overall. The hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of both price and performance. The reception team was extremely attentive and helpful, and the rooms were very clean. One of the most valuable features for us was the free shuttle service. The hotel provides complimentary rides to the metro station and also picks you up from the metro until 9:00 PM, which made our stay much more convenient. We would also like to thank Carlos from the shuttle team. He was friendly, solution-oriented, and truly excellent at his job. The breakfast was definitely well above average. The freshly squeezed orange juice, in particular, was a standout detail that sets the hotel apart. We also appreciated that the hotel provides Dove shower gel and shampoo, which reflects a higher level of quality. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel. It is comfortable, clean, and genuinely focused on guest satisfaction.

  The hotel staff—especially Nicol—is truly exceptional. She is incredibly polite, welcoming, and accommodating. She greeted us with a warm smile and made sure our stay was comfortable from the very beginning. This was my first visit to New York, and I had plenty of questions about transit. Nicol patiently answered everything, guided us to the breakfast area, and explained all the facilities available at the hotel. The location is also fantastic. The subway is just a short walk away, and the nearest bus stop is about five minutes from the hotel. We were able to reach Times Square in around 30 minutes.

  Amazing! I had the best stay here, Nicole the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. The beds were SO soft and comfy, no noise from outside, very quiet wonderful sleep, great hot breakfast buffet that changes each day! The buffet had fresh eggs, sausage, cinnamon rolls, cereal, juice, coffee and changes daily. The front desk allows you to leave your luggage with them in a locked room so it is safe. They have hot delicious cookies at the front desk, and are very accomodating! Very great location, easy to get to Times Square via bus or shuttle to metro for cheap. I felt safe at night and there’s a hotel shuttle 7am-11am and 5pm-9pm to Vernon Blvd & Jackson Ave metro station. I saved a lot of money staying here, and it was 100% worth the price! Microwave & fridge in each room, and the curtains closed all the way for pitch black sleep! The shower was huge and very clean, housekeeping is nice and comes daily! Book this place, I had a wonderful stay! You will be happy!

  Holiday Inn Express Long Island City E - New York by IHG is truly a gem! I stay here almost every week for work since I live out of state, and it’s always a wonderful experience. The hotel is only about a 20-minute drive from the city, which makes it super convenient for anyone working or visiting Manhattan. The staff here is phenomenal, specially Wendy and Jonathan. Wendy always greets me with kindness and respect, answers all my questions, and even gives great local food recommendations and delivery options. Check-in is always smooth and welcoming; Wendy and Jonathan pay close attention to detail and always recognize returning guests. I’m greeted the moment I walk through the door, and they do their best to provide my preferred room whenever it’s available. This hotel truly makes me feel at home while I’m away for work. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and exceptional service

  This place is a little gem. As of this writing the hotel felt very new. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and I was impressed with the cleanliness everywhere. The rooms are comfortable and large (especially for NYC) and mine came with a mini fridge and microwave. The rooms also have fantastic views given the height of the building and lack of tall neighbors. The fitness center was nice with dumbbells up to 50 lbs, a bench, yoga ball, two resistance bands, a body ball, two ellipticals, a bike, and a few treadmills. Plus towels and water cooler. Free breakfast was really good, varied, and plentiful. A large seating area on the second floor is a nice spot to sit or eat other meals. The location is not the best but the free shuttle to the subway was a nice perk and from there it’s an easy straight shot to Manhattan. The immediate area is very industrial but there are a few delis and restaurants in easy walking distance. The area felt very safe during the day and okay at night. I’d definitely stay here again if the location made sense for my needs.
