Overall satisfied with my four-night stay at this hotel. Although when I first checked in, the front desk lady assigned me a room on the third floor facing a large ventilation fan — the view was extremely narrow and felt almost like a prison cell. She moved me to a normal room after I spoke with her.
The soundproofing was good. The window of my new room faced the subway, I didn't hear much noise when the window was closed. The housekeeping was generally good, except that the comforter had an unignorable oily or kitchen-like smell, which was unpleasant. The AC worked well and the room was warm throughout my stay in mid November.
Convenient location — just a 4–5 minute walk to multiple subway lines. However accessing the main dining and shopping area of LIC requires crossing a major road.

The location is great. The subway is right in front of the building, there is a Planet Fitness across the street, the local Regals is within walking distance, there are restaurants nearby, etc.
However, I had several issues with the room. I regret not photographing it so that the staff can take care of it.
- First, the chair was completely ruined. I don't know what they were thinking keeping that chair in the room.
- One of the legs of the bed frame was tilted at an angle, but it appeared fine.
- The bathroom had visible spots of mold.
- There was a hair on my towel.
- Some of the outlets did not work.
- There were visible handprints around the room that were not wiped clean.
- Parts of the bathroom accessories were off kilter. I imagine that they broke off of the wall at one point and instead of rotating the anchors or fixing it, they just tilted one side slightly downwards to an area with untampered drywall and called it a day.
- The furniture had many scratches.
- The remote control smelled terrible.
- The carpet needed a shampoo.
- The walls were thin and I could hear someone gagging.
- One of the elevators was broken so it was faster to just run down the stairs.
- The staff areas were not locked and I accidentally wandered in. This could be a safety concern for the staff and their belongings. I could have just let someone in from a side entrance and they could have stolen stuff.
That said, there are still good points to the hotel. As previously mentioned, the location is great. Some might think it is sketchy, but it appeared pretty safe to me. It is also very convenient to get to the lower east side and Flushing. There is also a gym in the basement level with water available. The bed sheets and pillow were also clean. I checked it for stains and used a black light as well. The location is also very quiet.
I did not use room service so I can't comment on that. And yes, I did tip the staff after my stay ended.
Ultimately, if not for the mold and elevator, I would have given them 4 stars. I understand that some hotel rooms need to be renovated at some point (of which they really need to) and that mistakes happen. Maybe I can excuse the elevator, but that was the reality of my stay.

Great location if you wanna save a bit of money and don't mind a bit of a walk to the subway, which is just 2-stops from Manhattan. Area around hotel can seem a bit rundown and intimidating at night. But the hotel & room itself were clean and I had no issues with street noise/neighbors on the upper levels. Overall just a solid Hilton experience

Where should I start?
When checking in the men at the front desk was very rude. They let homeless people into the hotel (didn’t feel safe after this) Almost people tried stealing our door dash because they were aloud in the hotel. The bathroom had black mold. The sink and shower didn’t drain. When we walked into the room, we could tell the mattresses were horrible because they were literally indented. And went to the bar because we wanted to take a Coke on ice up to the room we were told no that we had to by bottle from the little store in the lobby. When we just wanted ice Coke. Would never stay here again Dave your 300 dollars.
