Nice tapestry collection hotel. Attached restaurant and bar are nice but parking is tight. Housekeeping, fitness center and staff are great. December stay with 12 degree temps was made better by the lobby fireplace. My gripes are small parking area and keep that morning coffee out a little longer. All said, I would definitely stay here again.

FOX news was in all 3 TVs here both mornings at breakfast and in the evening. Rooms were clean and comfortable. People were all friendly and kind.

I have styed at this Hotel numerous times and have always found it to be neat, clean, and very comfortable. One nights stay was interrupted by a bunch of people below me that wanted to have a Party and wasn't thinking of anyone else in the Hotel....go figure. BUT, that was not the fault of the Hotel and one call downstairs to the Main desk stopped the issue. The Employees are always friendly and make you feel welcome. I really enjoy staying here. It is, in my opinion, quiet and comfortable. I have read some reviews that talk about noise from the airport. I don`t find that to be a problem, in fact I don`t really hear the planes coming and going at all. At times, the A/C units can be loud and clunky, but I'm not going to Dog the Hotel for this in my review.....I am sure they are aware and taking the appropriate steps for that one issue. In summary, a great Hotel and Staff, the rooms don`t make you feel Closter phobic, and the rates are very reasonable.

Front desk and bartender gave me and my mom the hardest time. I don’t know if it’s because she has mental health or because of color. Moment we walked through the door we were judged.

First I would like to say that the staff is lovely and made the stay “rate” higher than it would have had they been ambivalent or unfriendly- that was not the case. There are pros and cons to staying at this hotel that travelers should be aware of. First, proximity to the airport and other hotel/conference centers on the Wolf Rd. corridor is a big plus for people traveling for work that are looking for flexible affordable accommodations. At the same time, proximity to the airport is part of the problem about the location… you hear every single plane take off. The hotel is situated literally next to the edge of the airport property and the edge of the runway. If you’re a light sleeper, this could be an issue. Also affecting light sleepers are the extremely loud HVAC units and other assorted noise that floats into the room from the hallway. From my room at one far corner of the 4th floor, I could hear someone using the ice machine near the elevators, someone else nearby using their blow dryer, and yet another person watching their television. The walls must be paper thin, and while laminate floors are pretty and probably easier to keep clean in a pet friendly hotel, there’s also nothing in the room to help absorb some of the noise. The room was very clean, but hallway did smell a bit musty. The carpet out there probably needs a deep clean- or maybe it’s time to replace it. The lobby was decorated well, but it is small. I did really appreciate the coffee station that was set up in the morning, as there was no water in the room to fill the Keurig machine. I would stay here again - but I’d bring earplugs with me next time.
