On some nights we had to go above that limit but the Hampton Inn in Lake Placid was the best value and the best hotel overall among all the places we stayed. Everything was excellent: the room was comfortable, the beds were great, the bathroom was clean, the pool and the jacuzzi were enjoyable, and the service from every staff member was warm and welcoming. The views were beautiful, the breakfast was satisfying, and the lobby felt inviting the moment we entered. A truly wonderful stay. Highly recommended.
