  I actually would have normally given it the most stars I stayed there quite a bit recently I left my ipad there from last weekend and the girl at the desk is giving me a hard time about getting it back she made me give her the code to get into it and everything and they're treating me like a common criminal if my brand new ipad which was an $800 value it's like I have to call the police tomorrow to get it back because she refuses to

  1 star — and that’s only because of the breakfast. We stayed at this hotel a year ago, and at that time the conditions were decent. Now it’s a complete disappointment. The price of $240 per night is absolutely not justified. There was only one set of towels in the room, and they looked worn out and gray, clearly having lost their whiteness and freshness a long time ago. For a hotel charging this rate, that is simply unacceptable. The bed linens were wrinkled, giving the impression that they were just straightened rather than properly changed. The pillows had an unpleasant, stale odor. There was trash left in the garbage bin from the previous guest — the room was either not cleaned at all or cleaned very poorly. Paying $240 per night for these conditions is unacceptable. It’s very disappointing to see how much this hotel has declined in just one year. We will not be returning.

  I would give five stars, except I think it was a little bit pricey for the location and for the amenities. It said online that it has a indoor pool, but it does not. That was kind of disappointing after being at a seminar for 9 hours sitting and listening and taking notes I just needed to unwind and get into a pool and there was none to get into.

  As IHG members, we were welcomed with thoughtful goodie bags that included a snack and a bottle of water — a nice touch upon arrival. The hotel is conveniently located just down the road from Saugerties’ Main Street, making it an excellent base for exploring both Saugerties and nearby Woodstock. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. A special thank you to the night front desk manager, the breakfast manager, and the food runner for their outstanding service and hospitality.
