we were there for a wedding. We had two rooms and my daughter had her two children in her room and we were in the other room. The wedding party was so loud and by midnight my daughter cannot take it any longer and called and made a complaint about the noise. The person at the desk at night came up to her room, knocked on the door and made a public service announcement to everybody that there was a wedding going on and we needed to understand if they were celebrating. They were drinking and smoking right in the atrium. Needless to say, my daughter was petrified after the person knocking on the door at midnight, I was gonna open the door to say something, but frankly, I was a little afraid as well. We did not sleep that night at all, not due to the noise because that did calm down, but that person knocking on the door and sounding threatening how we needed to be understanding made us very very uncomfortable. I don’t recommend this hotel at all. We did not feel safe. It’s very dark lots of walking to get to rooms and lobby. I reached out to management to discuss this, and I have not heard any word back at all. Obviously, they don’t care. Find another hotel if you want to sleep and feel safe

Absolutely disgusted with this hotel after having my wedding guests stay here with a room block this past weekend. I am writing this review to hopefully save someone from the embarrassment I feel about having my guests stay here. I did thorough research before booking my room block, read reviews, shopped around, looked at photos etc and there was nothing all that bad. But what my guests had experienced was unbelievably disappointing. The lobby seemed fine when I arrived to visit family before my big day, until I stepped on the elevator, which was absolutely filthy, smelled horribly and the floors were all cracked. I continued to keep a blind eye because hey, it’s just the elevator. Well when I visited a few family members rooms, I was very upset. The rooms looked worn, not clean and just out right sad. My family convinced me all was fine until I went to say goodbye to people on Sunday and learned that several people did not have television, some people had no heat, no water pressure in their showers, a mouse trap in there room and to top it off- someone found a bug in their bed. And when it was brought to managements attention and the bug was even brought to him and pictures were shown- he said he could not do anything until pest control arrived- while rolling his eyes and being horribly rude. I can go on about how bad my experience was with this hotel and I hope this saves someone from booking a room block with them.

what a terrible experience. here’s what happened: 1. they place us in the wrong room. we booked a two beds, we walk in and it’s one bed with a couch. there’s three of us 2. they also placed us in the smokers section of the hotel… didn’t even know that was a thing? one person in our group is super sensitive to the smell 3. i sit on the couch and look at it. it’s completely covered in pet hair. i’m allergic to pet dander. i was having an allergic reaction the entire time i was staying there, and even the day after! 4. we immediately call to see if we can be moved. phone doesn’t work so we have to call with our cell phone. they say no and that they’re completely booked out (remember this for later). we ask for a refund. the answer is inconclusive! 5. later in the night we get lost and get jumpscared by the security guard. he immediately starts talking about how he just had to clean up the most amount of puke he’s ever seen in his life in the very hallway that were standing in. 6. also later we decide i need a sheet to place over the couch because id have a severe reaction to the pet dander if i had to sleep on it the way it was. we go to the front desk… no housekeeping at night?!?! 7. front desk guy has to call the weird security guy to take us to the linen closet. instead of trying to key in, he immediately tries unlocking it with a knife first. as it’s obviously not working, he’s cursing the whole time while the three of us are just awkwardly standing there. then he tries multiple key cards. none of them work. then he just yanks the door open. he invites us in and hands us random linens that we didn’t ask for 8. in that linen closet he also decides to point out dirty sheets. he says “oh that must be red wine!” it genuinely looks like blood splatter and not red wine at all (we only learn later after googling that they recently ran a murder mystery event in the hotel, but we genuinely thought someone could have died in this place) 9. around 7 in the morning. there are people trying to open our door. not sure if it was housekeeping or lost guests, but i was freaked out. 10. we get up and notice we have an $800 charge to the credit card used to book the room! 11. when we check out, we ask about a refund again and ask about the $800 charge. the front desk attendant is confused and goes back to his manager to ask. this begins a back and forth conversation between the front desk, us, and the manager where the manager does not come out to speak to us directly. he only tells the front desk attendant what to say, and then sends him back to us. 12. we finally demand to speak to the manager himself and he comes out very rudely and tells us the charge was a “hold” and that he removed it (obviously a lie b/c we asked other friends who had stayed the same night if they had a hold and they didn’t). he also told us despite everything that happened to us, the best he could do was discount our room. we explained that we had booked the room over a month in advance and still got the wrong room, and he has no explanation as to why we were placed there because he says that the hotel had plenty of other rooms (which contradicts what we were told the day prior). at that point we were so exhausted so we just left to handle it ourselves. i literally could not make this up if i wanted to. we are never staying there again, and made sure to tell our friends (who also had similar experiences unfortunately) to never stay there again.

Great location for the job I had to work but the service was not good. Got to the room and the TV wasn’t working. Called front desk they said they would send someone. 10 mins later I decided to look my self and someone unplugged it. Got it fixed my self. 10 more mins go bye then someone knocks on the door saying they here to fix the tv. I Left the key card in my car so it didn’t touch anything that would deactivate it. Every night for a week coming back to the hotel, I had to go to the front desk because the key card would not work Asked for a 4:30am wake up call The lady put it in the book and I was here for 7 days and did not receive 1 wake up call. No one came to clean the room I had to empty my own trash and put it out the door for them to take it I was given 2 towels and was stuck using the same 2 towels all week. Had to go to the front desk and ask for Garbage bags. Piggy piggy I used the cups the 1st day I was here and they was never refilled shampoo and conditioner was empty Had to run to Walmart and pick up travel pack The vending machine and ice machine on the floor is out of order. A worker complained to me saying how it broke down and he was off the next day and complained saying how no workers here could clean out the ice machine and dry up the water leaking out. Never again will I come to the hotel

Needed a last minute room after work because we had a power outage at our home and I didn’t feel like roughing it after a long work day. Booked this place, for way too much money for a Wednesday night in Kingston. But whatever. I would have happily paid an extra 50 dollars to not have ever stayed here. Highlights, free breakfast is actually now 18 dollars. The staff is incredibly rude and dismissive and needs to be replaced. The hallways are dark. The rooms are filthy. The shower has no hot water and the faucet hardware is coming off. The TV doesn’t work, the ice machines also do not work, and there’s no place to get beverages. But just to detail our stay: When I went to check in, there were two staff members at the front desk. One man and a girl, whose name tag said MG. The two stopped talking to each other when I walked up to the desk, but stood silent while I stood there. No “How can I help you?” Or “Are you here to check in?” Just staring. So I told MG, “I’m here to check in.” She glared at me. I stared back. It was like a standoff. So I hand over my ID and card. She takes them and starts to check me in. Puts them back on the counter, and says “take them back ma’am.” Okay. So I took them back and put them away and then she says, “I need your card,” and rolls her eyes, immediately after. Oh? Okay. Because you just gave it back to me? But I give my card back. She runs it. She hands me the key cards and just says “signature” under her breath and I didn’t hear her. But she stood there, again glaring, so I said, “Am I good to go?” And she said, “Signature!” At this time, my boyfriend walks in. He stands with me while I sign the paper she pulls out. But there’s a spot for three signatures. I sign one and say, “should I sign all three?” She looks at him and says, “Just the girl, not you.” First off, you work in customer service and have my name in front of you. Secondly, obviously he knew he wasn’t signing anything because I booked it. I said “Okay,” and handed her the paper back without the other two signatures because I was trying to be non-confrontational. The two at the desk went back to talking about how he was going to show her his house or something, we left. She was incredibly rude and painful to speak to. I manage a sales team, and if she were my employee she’d be immediately let go or given a position where she does not interact with the public. But that’s just me. We grabbed food and came back. Thankfully found a parking spot right outside the building because the lot was huge and poorly lit. We go inside and find our way to the elevator. Which was sketchy at best. The hallways are so dark that any normal person can barely see. I didn’t mind because I like the dark. But I think it’s to hide how dingy and dirty the hallways are. We get to the room and the key cards don’t work. After like 8 tries it lit up for one second and we immediately opened it because I didn’t want to carry our things back down for different keys. We were immediately hit with what I thought was axe body spray when we opened the door. It smelled like a teenage boys locker room. Apparently it was something sprayed in the heating/air system. I went to get into the shower because that was the only reason I didn’t just stay home. The shower was tiny and gross. The door swings in and hits the toilet. You need to back yourself to the sink and step over the toilet to get to the shower. Which was gross and the grout was dirty. The floors were clearly never mopped ever. The shower faucet was coming off. And the water didn’t even get past lukewarm. My boyfriend ran out to get ice. Thought he was taking awhile. But apparently he had to go ask for ice from the restaurant because there were no machines. Oh! And he couldn’t get back into the room after because the key didn’t work. This place is wild. I can keep going but you get the picture. I’m sitting in bed reading the reviews while I’m still here. I wish I read them before I booked. Because every single one is accurate. Save yourself and just pay a little bit more to stay anywhere but here.
