  Great stay. Nice clean room. The breakfast was delicious. Nice assortment of foods. Tanisha does a outstanding job keeping everything clean.

  I had a good experience with the staff here. From Michael, the face at the front desk, to the folks handling the evening snack/drinks, and breakfast in the morning. I arrived in the afternoon and was able to get into my room right away. The hotel is off the beaten path and not lots of loud traffic like many hotels. I went across the street for dinner at a local pizza place. The food was decent but nothing to write home about. The rooms are older, and the shower was odd. Seemed like it took a few minutes for the hot water to come through. The room had the basics. I'm not a big breakfast eater, but I did have a bagel and some oatmeal. Simple. Met some nice people also in travel mode. I wish the folks here all the best. Like I said, Michael was good to speak to.

  Disappointed with Cleanliness and Customer Service I stayed at this hotel for one night and, unfortunately, would not recommend it. My primary concern was the cleanliness of the shower, which had visible black mold and hair, making it unsanitary and unpleasant. Given that we paid $350 for the night, I expected a much higher standard. In hindsight, I would have preferred staying at the Cayuga across the street for half the price and based on the condition of our room. When I raised the issue with the front desk, the response was far from satisfactory. They asked when we checked in (late afternoon) and why we were only reporting the issue in the evening. We had been out attending the event— the very reason for our trip—and didn’t want to risk being late. While I understand the staff might not have been able to resolve the issue after hours, the way the situation was handled felt dismissive. To make matters worse, I was told that because I booked through Expedia, they couldn’t do much to remedy the situation. This was confusing, as the booking was made with my credit card, but regardless of how we booked should not change what we expect from the stay. The issue was not addressed. We were asked to return the next morning to speak with a manager. However, when we did, the manager was unavailable, and we were told someone would reach out to resolve the matter. Over two weeks have passed, and we’ve heard nothing. When I mentioned that the price we paid did not match our expectations for cleanliness and service, I was told the rate was higher because of the third-party booking. The point I was trying to make, however, was that for the price we paid, we expected a clean room, no mold, and much better customer service. It is standard for people to use their travel credit card to make reservations. As someone that has worked in customer facing jobs, I am always polite when addressing a complaint. Disappointed that no effort was made to make amends. I’ve always trusted the Hilton brand, but this experience has left me deeply disappointed.

  As a long standing hilton hotels rewards member this location is extremely clean and well managed. We were pleasantly surprised on the cleanliness and quality of the rooms. Our son attends cortland university and this will be my go to hotel in the future. Its a bit off the highways but well worth the extra time. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have had and the employees were constantly cooking and restocking fresh foods. The pillows are probably the best we ever had in a hotel. King suite had a full mini kitchen with dishwasher and fully stocked with dishes, utensils, pots ,pans and brand new sponge with soap and dishwasher pods.If we stayed longer than 1 night we probably would have utilized.
