  Not a huge deal, but when we opened the door and turned on the kitchen light, it was displaying a light show. Blinking and flickering. I turned it off only to find that the room was simply to dark without it because the only other lighting was lamps. No other ceiling lights. So not even 18 minutes into our getting there, I reported it and they said they'd have maintenance come fix it. It never got fixed. So in order to have lighting of any sorts, we had to live with the constant flickering of this light. Ya'll may think its no big deal, but it was horrible for us being the only proper ceiling light that gave any good type of lighting. I use this Motel often. No more! Yes, over a simple light, im done with them!

  Awful. Do not stay here unless you want to be treated like dirt. The lady with the glasses at the front desk cancelled our reservation on us because we wanted an explanation and written proof of why we’re being charged. She then proceeded to call LOCAL customers BURDENS, called us poor, and call the authorities on us.

  This is the kind of hotel you would stay a few days in … small kitchens for cooking. We only stayed one night on our way through and it had everything we needed … clean room, comfy bed and pillows, plenty of towels and ability to do laundry, which we needed after a week on the road. The staff is amazing and the location is great. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

  I didn't stay at this hotel, so I can't rate the quality but can comment on the service level. I was leaving the Courtyard down the street and (stupidly) left the hatch on my rental car open. As I was driving down the street I heard a thump and when I stopped, I realized my suitcase had fallen out. I turned around, but it was gone. We stopped by the Candlewood, the nearest hotel and asked if anyone had brought it in, no luck. When I got to the airport, I got a call from a woman at Candlewood (Monday around 4:30 p.m.) asking if I had lost a suitcase. Apparently the guy that found it called the Candlewood to ask if someone had lost luggage, which they knew nothing about. Rather than just leaving it at that, the Candlewood woman called the other area hotels for someone who had just checked out, got my name and number from the Courtyard and called me, enabling the return of my bag, just in time to make my flight. Excellent service!
