    Do not come here if you want to have a good rest. Can’t sleep because of karaoke. Staff and management refused to take accountability towards their guest

    I absolutely loved my stay here. I booked a king suite with a couch, which I found very spacious, and I really liked the room’s design. I am not personally a fan of the hotel’s location, but the staff more than makes up for it, especially Andrew. I had the most amazing experience with him. Even though I booked in advance, the night I arrived was extremely busy, and because I checked in late, my room had been given away. I was really disappointed, but Andrew went above and beyond to help me. He offered multiple room options, showed me four different rooms, and personally escorted me to three of them. I mentioned it was my birthday, and while most hotel staff do not pay much attention to that, he was genuinely kind, incredibly hospitable, and truly made my day. Even with how busy the night was, he took the time to make sure I found a room I loved, and the entire experience honestly warmed my heart. He is not only professional, he is kind, funny, and exceptional at what he does. 11/10 would recommend this hotel solely because of him.

    I was stuck in NY due to the big flight cancellation and booked to stay here, but accidentally booked the wrong night. I immediately realized my mistake and tried to fix it. They couldn’t move my reservation because they were fully booked (totally understandable) and refused to refund my money. The room had been booked all of 15 minutes. This was really disappointing on top of an already lousy situation.

    The hotel itself is very nice. The room was clean and even had a Nespresso machine. It was a quiet and comfortable stay for my son’s tournament weekend. Unfortunately, my reservation was cancelled shortly after I was notified by email of a payment issue on the same day I was due to check in, even though I had already updated my card. It was stressful right before our trip. Thankfully, Trayvon at the front desk was outstanding and helped me rebook at the same rate. His patience and calmness made a big difference during a difficult situation. Sadly, management never responded to my follow-up email. I would stay again, but I hope their policy becomes more reasonable.

    I’ll write a full review of my hotel experience later, although it will be a very short stay because of the delayed shuttle pickup. For now, this review is only about the shuttle service (I haven’t even reached the hotel yet). After landing at LaGuardia and arriving at the terminal, I called voco Fiorello – LaGuardia East, an IHG Hotel to request the shuttle and was told it would arrive in under 20 minutes. I called four more times and was repeatedly told “it’s on the way,” but I’ve now been waiting for 70 minutes —at midnight—when I only needed the room for a short rest before a 6 AM flight. Completely unacceptable. When I finally reached the hotel, Saul at the front desk immediately acknowledged the situation and explained what went wrong. He was very professional, offered solutions, and even suggested requesting reimbursement from the airline for the uber. He was welcoming and handled the issue with patience and clarity. The room itself was clean, well-kept. I just didn’t get to enjoy it due to the late arrival and early flight, no breakfast, nothing more than a short stay. That said, the hotel urgently needs to fix its shuttle system. Whether that means adding another shuttle, improving scheduling, or communicating accurate wait times, the current setup is clearly not working. No guest should have to wait over an hour after midnight for a service the hotel promises.
