The hotel offered a shuttle but after I booked I find out that they wont pick me up. The hotel is refusing to give a refund. It was hard to get hold of someone. I called and sent emails. I am still waiting.

I am writing to formally complain about the extremely disappointing level of service I experienced during my 14-day stay at your hotel, an IHG property. As a guest expecting professional standards consistent with the IHG brand, I was deeply frustrated by multiple issues with both Front Desk and Housekeeping services.
1. Front Desk – Failure to Notify and Locate a Guest Drop-Off Item
A friend dropped off an item for me at the hotel. I was never notified about it, which is understandable if it was overlooked initially. However, when I inquired at the Front Desk whether anything had been left for me, the staff informed me there was nothing after searching for some time. Only after I confirmed details with my friend (including the exact date and time) and relayed this information back to the staff did they search again and locate the item – which had been stored at the bottom of a cabinet. It appears there was a complete lack of communication among the Front Desk team members, leading to unnecessary inconvenience and wasted time.
2. Housekeeping – Inadequate Replenishment of Amenities
Throughout my 14-day stay, the hotel did not provide complimentary bottled water at any point (not even on the first day). Additionally, apart from the initial supply upon check-in, Housekeeping never replenished coffee or tea packets. On one occasion, I left a note requesting tea packets along with a tip, but the housekeeper took the tip without providing the requested items or leaving the note addressed.
Beyond trash removal and vacuuming, I observed little additional effort in room maintenance (I reused my own towels to minimize workload). Basic replenishment of in-room amenities should be standard, yet this was consistently neglected.
3. Front Desk and Housekeeping Coordination – Inconsistent Service and Unprofessional Attitude
I removed the “Do Not Disturb” sign every other day to indicate the room was available for cleaning. On those days when Housekeeping entered, they performed the service and collected the tips I left. However, on one day (during the Christmas period), I returned to find the room had not been cleaned. I handed trash to a cleaning staff member and asked if it was due to the holiday; he apologized, said staff were working that day, and notified Housekeeping.
Shortly after I returned to the room and began showering, Housekeeping knocked persistently despite my calls that I was showering and it was inconvenient. Frustrated, I finished quickly and called the Front Desk to explain the situation. The representative informed me that Housekeeping requests must be made every morning – yet this contradicted the previous days when service was provided (and tips collected) without any such request. There was no apology offered; instead, the staff simply asked if I still needed service at that moment. This response was dismissive and unprofessional, leaving me extremely angry.
I am astonished that an IHG-affiliated hotel would exhibit such inconsistent procedures, poor inter-departmental communication, and lack of accountability from staff. These experiences significantly detracted from my stay and do not reflect the service standards I associate with your brand.

I booked this hotel specifically during a 14-hour layover in New York because it advertised shuttle service to and from LaGuardia Airport. After landing at JFK and making my way to LGA, I waited 45 minutes in freezing temperatures for the hotel shuttle to arrive.
During this time, I was in contact with the front desk receptionist, Lloyd, who was kind, communicative, and apologetic—his professionalism was appreciated. However, the shuttle delay itself was extremely disappointing. While waiting, I saw at least four shuttles from other nearby hotels arrive and depart, all with far more frequent pickup schedules.
After a long and exhausting international flight, standing outside in harsh winter conditions for 45 minutes was not the experience I expected when choosing this hotel specifically for its airport shuttle convenience. Unfortunately, this significantly impacted what should have been a brief and restful layover stay.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously and considers improving shuttle reliability for future guests, especially those arriving after long-haul travel.

Landed at LGA and called the front desk to understand how the shuttle works. Madison answered the phone and was superb in providing instructions, a number to text, and she also communicated to the shuttle driver. I texted the number as well and the driver called afterwards to confirm. The experience was seamless and gratuity is deeply appreciated by the shuttle drivers.
For those flying Delta - Terminal C - walk past door 15 to get to the waiting area for hotel shuttles.
Check-in process with Madison is delightful and thorough. She’s very professional and warm.
Room is great - larger than the ones we’ve stayed at in Manhattan with high ceilings. Insulated fairly well from the street noise. Heat is loud - but, it’s like white noise to me. Pretty skyline view.
Walking distance to an awesome food scene in Chinatown and easy to get to the 7 into Manhattan. Lots to do and to eat. Be sure to have cash - better price!
Checkout process was also seamless. Madison and Sun were terrific and super helpful as we waited to take the shuttle back to LGA. After 12, it departs the hotel by the hour on the hour, so be sure to show up 10min before departure so the driver can put your suitcases in the back.

In October, I booked this hotel for a one-night stay on November 22nd through the IHG website. Three days before the stay, I received an email confirming that the hotel was ready for my arrival. Due to a social event, my family and I arrived at approximately 1:30 AM on November 23rd. Upon arrival, I was told that I had come on the wrong date. After showing the staff my confirmation email—clearly indicating my booking—they informed me that the hotel was fully booked and that the only thing they could offer was a refund.
This left my wife, my children, and me stranded outside in the early hours of a winter morning, with no assistance in finding alternative accommodations. We were forced to search for another hotel at nearly 2 AM, in freezing weather, while exhausted from a long day. This caused significant stress, discomfort, and safety concerns for my family. It is completely unacceptable that despite having a confirmed reservation, we were denied a room and received no support.
After speaking with IHG Guest Services, I learned that the hotel had canceled my reservation minutes before my arrival, without providing any explanation. While the hotel never stated a reason, the motivation seems obvious. This experience shows a serious lack of integrity and consideration for guests. I strongly urge others to think twice before booking at this property. As for me, I will never stay here again.
After I got home, I filed a complaint regarding the hotel, and it was handled promptly. I received full reimbursement for the alternative hotel I found that night, which reaffirmed my belief that the IHG brand still delivers excellent customer service. However, such an incident should never happen to any traveler due to a hotel’s behavior, and unfortunately, it reflects negatively on the brand.
