MUST READ 2026 REVIEW. The rooms weren’t even wiped properly. I had to bleach the bathroom tub because someone’s pubic hair was all over it. Then I went to wash dishes and the crud and grime buildup in the dishwasher… nasty. If I could give it a 0, I would. My husband was downstairs extending our room. I heard a noise like someone was passing and the lightest thud, like someone’s luggage hit the door, so I walked over just to be sure it wasn’t my husband trying to come in. A lady with red hair stormed in and said, “Oh, you’re on my list.” I said, “No, I’m not. It’s not checkout,” and my husband is downstairs. All while trying to shove her out, I had nothing but a tank top and underwear on (wasn’t expecting anyone), and my three little children were up yelling, “Who’s that, Mommy? There’s a stranger!” Kids were trying to run behind the couch, yelling, crying. This woman didn’t even look like a worker; she had red hair all over her head and was unprofessional. Hence, I had a mini panic attack, thinking that they gave some random woman my room by accident at first. We went down to get it settled, and all they did was say sorry. Like that’s going to do anything. Next, they told my husband to throw the dirty clothes out on the porch. He asked, “Throw them on the porch?” And they said yes, so that’s what I did. The manager, I guess, comes up to my room (husband is at work, the second time they came to my door while he’s not with me) and tells me not to do that, next time they will charge me. I’m like, “What? Okay, sorry, I won’t, but they told my husband to do that.” Honestly, we didn’t think anything of it because of the way they were running things anyway, so we were like, “Okay, throw towels on porch, no big deal.” Then a few hours later, three random guys came knocking, saying they have to “adjust the TVs.” I’ve never had a problem with the TVs, and I never called them about the TVs. I think when the lady barged in, she told them I was alone because they harassed me all day that day. I was so scared; I was on the phone crying to my husband. When my husband called corporate, the front desk called us and said they couldn’t extend our stay (not that I wanted to stay there alone). DO NOT GO THERE WITH KIDS ALONE. I believe if my husband wasn’t 10 minutes away, they would have tried more. I don’t know if they were planning something, trying to traffic us, or what, but I was scared out of my mind. Really thinking about asking police to go get the e cottage for that day because I’m going to need them.
