  I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express Clifton Park on 4/10. The room was clean, quiet, and well-appointed—exactly what you want after a long day. I especially want to call out Tyrone at the front desk. He was genuinely kind, efficient, and went above and beyond to make the experience smooth. It’s not every day you come across someone who stands out like that, and he absolutely deserves the recognition. Overall, a comfortable and hassle-free stay—I’d definitely come back.

  This is my 5th time staying at this location. I used to come here for hockey tournaments and now it's a place I come to visit with my daughter and go to the restaurant right next door!!! This was a hard trip because my daughter had an early medical test at Albany Med, but we wanted the pool and the location, so we decided to stay here again. We asked for a take check out thinking we would come back early enough for a nap or a dip in the pool before check out. We did request a later check out. However, while at the hospital we learned the test wasn't functioning as expected on her body and would have to be done again... meaning we wouldn't get back in time for our check out. This left me in a panic, but the staff were so amazing, kind and human! We were able to check out later then late and I offered to pay a fee, but they waved it. Needless to say, we are booking again in May for our next big visit with family! Thank you to the staff who saw us as humans! Ps- added bonus that check in was also awesome and our welcome gift was nice! The breakfast was not eaten by us, but it smelled great when we left at 6:30 in the morning. We enjoyed the pool. Not too cold not super humid and hot in the area.

  There was no disclosure about the $50 charge upon arrival. They called it “accidental,” but this should have been communicated clearly in advance. The receptionist told us that every hotel does this where she goes, which is simply not true. Not every hotel charges unexpected fees, and guests should be properly informed beforehand. The room itself is decent, but the shower definitely needs to be updated. While the water pressure is strong, the shower head is rusted and does not allow the water to flow properly. Because of that, it is difficult to rinse shampoo out.

  I am eating this based on the terrible customer service provided when inquiring about a weather related cancellation. I have in writing that the cancellation policy gives me until 4pm the day before. However, the agent who answered very snottily denied this and said “ I wouldn’t be able to cancel its 48 hours or more”. No mam. Not when my confirmation email says differently.
