We stayed at the Lake House and fell in love with everything about this place. The staff were all fantastic, extremely friendly and made us feel like family. We had a gorgeous lake view room and loved the location and amenities that were available to us. The whole atmosphere was very inviting. From the hot apple cider in the lobby to the beautiful library coffee/wine bar where we sat without cell phones and soaked it all in. We were saddened that due to the government shutdown our flights to return home were impacted and we had to shorten our trip and return early but the staff handled it with such professionalism and ease. We will certainly be back, thank you!

Jojo the wedding planner saw us walking in the rain to Nolan’s for dinner, and decided to stop and ask us if we needed a ride over. She was SO thoughtful and nice to do it! We’re from Philly, and the hospitality up here is something I’ve never experienced before. Thank you, jojo. You’re so sweet!

Beautiful upscale hotel on a beautiful lake. The rooms are amazing. Housekeeping and front door butlers were awesome. Spa was luscious and the yoga teacher was really good. Check-in charged our cards and we had already paid before arrival. There is nothing anywhere that depicts the extra charges like daily room fee. What is that? Food was good but not great especially for the price. Oftentimes breakfast was cold with small portions. Staff seemed irked when asking for improved service. At this price point for an upscale hotel, one expects service with a smile. They corrected all the issues while we were there but it did take away from the overall experience.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We came with our 3 month old baby for 5 nights and it was the perfect getaway. They provided a beautiful crib, a fridge for milk, and undivided attention whenever we needed somehring. The grounds are gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was so special. I also had a massage and it was lovely. We can’t wait to come back!

I stayed at The Lake House for my niece’s wedding this past weekend. While it was a great time seeing family again I can’t get over the rude interaction I had with one of the staff member.
At the wedding when we went inside to sit down for dinner my table was curious when the bar would open back up. I volunteered to ask the bartenders and when I got to the bar, I was greeted by a dark haired woman, who’s first response to me walking up to the bar was “what do you need? “ I was thrown back by her response, and replied with “my table was curious when the bar would be back open.” My interaction with her continued to be unpleasant as she responded with “You just had an hour of open bar. It will be open once they finish setting up”. I later asked one of the gentleman behind the bar where that Bartender went and he said oh that wasn’t a bartender that’s the events manager. I believe he said Jojo(?) was her name. The rest of the staff was great, but my interaction with her was memorable and unpleasant.
