- CWC. W.Jun 23, 20232.0We had to stay here because our son was in a hockey tournament and this was the hotel where our team had to stay. Everything is relative, right? So depending upon your experience with hotels and your personal expectations, you may or may not care about what we care about. Basically, the place is a mess if you actually look around. Mold in the corners of the hallway where there’s an A/C unit, stained and dirty carpets in hallways, very dark corridor that feels a bit unsafe to walk in alone to get from the elevator to second floor rooms. It’s really dark. We stayed in room 250 and it was not the best: the A/C only worked on the side with the sofa but the vent on the side with the bed did not push out cold air. Maintenance did come to fix it but nothing improved. Our room was considered a “suite” and it had no windows to the outside world, just a window to look at the courtyard pool area. The room had no doors in between the bed side and the sofa side so you don’t really have privacy or a way to not hear the tv on one side. The tub didn’t drain during the shower and there is no way to turn a bathroom fan on. We had to call for bedding for the pull out bed because there was none in the room. The pullout sofa bed had potato chips on it when I pulled it out and that whole area under the couch that you see when you pull out the couch was pretty gross. The sofa itself looked gross and stained. There were little things in the room indicating it doesn’t get a careful eye during cleaning. Ie, a little kid sticker on a lamp, a deflated balloon on the floor. It just feels dingy and old and not very clean. Also hot without A/C and the pull out bed was really uncomfortable and you could feel the springs in the mattress. Stay somewhere else- there are a lot of hotels in the area to choose from.
