  Convenient location, room was clean and bed was comfortable! Reception staff is not very welcoming, you seem to bother them when you ask a question

  Good rooms, but the staff that knocked on my door at 11:30 telling me to check out when I had another night was very rude. She insisted that I had only booked 1 night. Kept glancing at her paper until she realized that I was there for another night. No apology, nothing. Won't stay there again. Plenty of other hotels in the area

  I've stayed at the EVEN Hotel about five times over the past decade, essentially since it opened. The staff is very friendly and welcoming; however, the hotel does not seem to have updated in the past decade. The rooms are luck of the draw: some seem to have received some updates and are in better condition while others have molding separating from the walls and broken charging ports. I had the misfortune of being located on the 12th floor by the water dispenser and every single day it broke, which first led to beeping and then an alarm that wouldn't go off until I called the front desk. This happened several mornings around 5am. The TV is old, you can only scroll up and down 40 channels, no possibility to view a TV guide or stream. Of course you're not coming to NYC to watch TV, but I think everyone wants to be able to properly unwind at their hotel. It's a fine hotel: it's clean and has friendly staff, great location, but I would certainly not consider it a 4-star hotel (which is how it is advertised).

  I can not say enough about the warmth and kindness of the staff here. Every person I interacted with was warm and hospitable. My expectations were exceeded at every turn! Then add the hotels convenient location and nice rooms it’s a no brainer! I will 100% stay here again. Special thanks to Monique, Charisma FMB and Artie.

  Would I stay here again? No. Nice location. Service is lacking. Front desk people on their phones the whole time and don’t greet you. Went to the bar and the bartender is no where to be found. After asking someone at the front desk if the bar is still open, the bartender comes out. They only have wine, beer, and Sake. Asked for Sake old fashioned inspired drink that is on their menu and they don’t have the ingredients. The air condition in the room BARELY gets cold even if you have on like 65. If you hear a loud ringing sound that won’t go away, it’s the ice machine in the hallway. Had to call someone to address it. Paint is chipping. Hardwood floor not meeting the walls in some places. Floors are warped in some places that seem like possible water damage. Light fixtures falling. The cosmetic stuff I can deal with but, the service and air condition is bothering me
