The only good thing about this hotel is the location. You’re in the heart of downtown Brooklyn with all the trains and cool things to see but this place is gross. For the price of this hotel you’d expect a clean room but when we checked in there was coil hair scattered in the bathroom and the bedsheets were stained. There was other people clothes and underwear left in the corner of the room and the outlets didn’t work. The towels and stuff were not cleaned when we grabbed one of the towels there was bright red hair left on the towels. Double check the sheets, towels, and bathroom before setting your stuff down this place is disgusting.

3/5 Ok
The room was nice and neat. Two things that bothered me with my stay here. There were no wash cloths in the room when I checked in so I went to the room phone to can front desk and the phone wasn't working. I had to go downstairs to the front desk to ask for a bare necessity. What's crazy was that the phone wasn't plugged in. I plugged it in but it didn't work the whole time that I was there. Holiday Inn got to do better.

I picked this hotel because of the location, pool and fitness room for me , my husband and my two kids. However, the person who made my reservation lied,(1) they said they had joining rooms, when we get to the hotel they said they do not have joining rooms.(2) They girl at the front desk said she will give us two rooms together, she give my kids a room three rooms away from us. (3) We decided to try and make the most of it, when we get to the rooms it was rundown, limited towels and washcloth and the chair in the room was peeling, I refused to sit on it, my husband had to get it changed. My kids didn't get to use the pool because there was a time limit which was early in the morning and too late in the evening. The fitness room was ok. Whoever is in charge of this hotel needs to first fix up the rooms, check on the janitorial proformance, check on the people who is doing the reservation so the will not lie to guests, also, give guest courtesy when staff mess up. I like holiday Inn hotel, but I will never come back to this one.

mon deposit …

Edited to follow up on the response from owner: Hi Masani, I did reach out to both you and Ricardo via email on 10/29/25 prior to the canned response to my post. I have yet to receive a reply from either of you regarding my request for a refund.
I reserved a room through Booking.com and just before my stay, I became aware that there were confirmed bed bugs in this hotel just the week before (see for yourself, a few reviews down...). Obviously, these are unacceptable conditions for a hotel and there was no way I would ever check in there. Unfortunately, my cancellation window had just closed so I was no longer eligible for a refund, per booking.com's policies. I contacted the hotel and they refused to refund my money - $297 for one Tuesday night. This refusal is also unacceptable - you cannot expect people to willingingly stay at your hotel after this discovery. It's a bait and switch because I would have NEVER reserved a room in the first place if I had known about the bed bugs.
