  I had a positive 4-star experience here overall. The rooms were a major highlight, earning a solid 4-star rating for their comfort and quality. While the service met a standard 3-star expectation, the location was a bit further out than I preferred. However, the high quality of the room itself made the stay worthwhile.

  Checked in late night due to losing my apartment key and slept right away after turning on the heat with a remote. Woke up in the morning around 7:30am and immediately noticed the room was freezing, tried to use the room phone to call the front desk but it didn’t work. I had a knee injury during my stay and the staff knew. I had to go up to the front desk to ask about the heat since I couldn’t shower or change in the room when it was freezing, but found the assistant manager on the phone when I got here. He literally saw me limping around, waiting for him, and didn’t acknowledge me or get another staff to assist while I stood there for more than 15 minutes…. I went down to my room because I couldn’t stand any longer and there’s no seating in the lobby. When I came back upstairs before checkout (10:30am) to discuss what happened, the same man tried to gaslight me and say that it’s my fault I didn’t have heat because I should have came to him in the middle of night when it first happened (I checked in at 2am and went to sleep thinking that the heat was coming in because the unit indicator was on….) and that I was telling him too late now that the phone and heat didn’t work…. Even though I was there first thing in the morning and he didn’t help. In addition to the rude tone & service, their coffee cups lids don’t fit the cups properly and I had coffee drip on my hands, my clothes, and everywhere I took my cup from the hotel bed to the front desk. All in all the assistant manager was rude to deal with but a different staff member tried to smooth over the situation, spoke to the manager on the phone, and told me that they would be working out a partial refund for me since I did stay but didn’t get the full service. I agreed to that and left. Guess who never got her partial refund? Scammy business practices will get away with every dime they can.

  The hotel is brand new and very clean, with a great location. The rooms aren't huge, but they were perfect for four people. It's a good price, close to the train station, and there's a kiosk next door where you can buy food if you arrive late. The included breakfast is very good. The young man in the lobby was very kind and let us store our luggage because our flight was very late. I imagine it would be a good idea if they had a room where guests could leave their bags. The breakfast lady was very friendly and greeted us with a big smile, which was very welcome. I would definitely stay there again with my family on our next vacation in New York.
