I landed here accidentally due to a terrible snow storm. The front desk where super pleasant & helpful. My room was immaculate & very cozy. I had a great view of downtown, a little refrigerator, & a sparkling bathroom with plenty of water pressure in the shower. The bed was comfortable. I didn't use the gym but enjoyed my swim in the pool. I would absolutely recommend staying here. The only downsides were the noisy, partying neighbors & the restaurant: the restaurant was clearly understaffed, had a very limited menu, & the drinks were quite pricey. While the staff were friendly & my dinner delicious, service was extremely slow. In hindsight, I wish I had ordered takeout instead.

Modern and inviting with a festive vibe, located right downtown next to great shopping w/4-stories to explore at Boscov's and Ellis Brothers, restaurants and night life. Live in the area but stayed over to attend our company Christmas Party at City Club. Andy at front desk was very accommodating and made check-in easy. Nice, spacious room w/comfortable bed and view of the river was perfect. Delicious & fresh breakfast too. Best place we've stayed in the Binghamton area!

Many thanks and Happy Holidays to Sahadat and Andy at the front desk! We stayed there Christmas Eve and could not have been more pleased with our service, the room, the location and the accoutrements.Sahadat upgraded our room to a suite upon arrival, and we could not have been happier with the cleanliness of the room, the view of the river, and the extra space. It was ideal for our needs. Thank you so much for everything!!

What can I say. The Holiday Inn at 2-8 Hawley St in Binghamton, NY is the best Holiday Inn we have ever stayed at. Rooms are spacious, clean and affordable. The front desk workers like Jen and Andy go above and beyond to make you feel important and you are well taken care of. The are welcoming with smiles and eager to greet you witj professionalism. We use this hotel for every stay, about 10 times a year and have never been disappointed. If something isn't quite right, the staff are quick and professional to find the proper solution. I would highly recommend this hotel not only because of it's cleanliness, affordability and amenities but also because of the people. 6/5 rating in my books.

The only detail that matters here is you don’t have proper climate control. The climate control is outdated, it is set by maintenance to function as either heat or AC depending on the season. The units in my room were both set to heat, due to the winter season. The room was extremely hot, 78 degrees Fahrenheit, and there was no way at all to cool it down. I spoke with the front desk and after they consulted with maintenance, it was clear that all rooms in the hotel were like this. Holiday Inn lives up to its reputation.
