You just can't go wrong. I was pleasantly surprised with my generous King room. Great space, lovely updated bathroom. Although I did not dine in, the restaurant is a lovely cozy space with lovely river views. I normally stay at the Doubletree, but did not feel I was staying any place lesser. Definitely a consideration when in the area.

I am an IHG member. For starters I was told that I was trying to be reached by phone on Friday morning 11/14 and it went to voicemail on several attempts but I never had a voicemail left about my room. I booked a 2 queen 1 bedroom suite and when I arrived was told the room wasnt ready to check back in 30 minutes. Went back up to the desk and was told the hotel was overbooked and got put into a regular 2 queen room instead which isnt my problem and we were ok with it. We got charged accordingly. Then the experience went downhill further and never stopped. Feces on the toilet seat, crumbs on the floor. Im not a housekeeper and shouldnt need to clean my own room. The water pressure in the shower was terrible and barely came out. The list goes on and on. The hotel was super warm and you couldn't turn the air conditioner on to get comfortable. We like the room to be cooler when we sleep. I read the 5 out of 5 reviews and think this hotel only deserves 3 stars at max. I give this hotel 2 stars. The front desk people need to learn to be nicer and more friendly during the day on Friday. Hopefully management will make this right. The only 5 star review I would give is how great the waitress was in the restaurant Friday and Saturday night.

To start...Being an IHG member. I was disappointed in being told to wait because our room was not ready. We were told "30 min". Aftr what seemed liked longer, I went up to the desk and was told we could no longer have our suite and would be put in a double queen. We were fine with it,but.....the toilet was spattered with feces, there was debris under the beds and counter. We endured as we were there for a Conference. Very disappointed in !!!

The Holiday inn is a very lovely hotel the rooms are functional and very utilitarian the beds are thankfully not really soft so you do not sleep in past the time you're supposed to. The biggest problem is the lack of things to do around the hotel. The department store in the restaurant nearby were nice however the rest of the neighborhood leaves a lot to be desired it wouldn't be so bad if there was more to do in the hotel

Nice hotel for short visits. We had a king size room and it was small. The bathroom was also small. But it was clean and functional. I prefer to have room to walk around in but we weren’t in it long. It sits on the river which was very pretty and a walking path that takes you to a small park. The restaurant has a bar and a small menu but it was very good. The biggest complaint would be the parking. There is a small parking lot in the front and there was a hockey game at the arena that’s across the road. They were allowing the hockey game fans park there not leaving any room for the guests. It was chaos when we returned from dinner with all guests trying to find a spot.
