  I had worst experience at this hotel after traveling through a snow storm. The GM never returned my phone call nor addressed any of my complaints when I stayed. The staff Hailey was exceptionally rude and treated my family with disrespect . I would not recommend this place there is much better options where they actually value your play.

  Dani - Mel’s Diner - Outstanding Service Lorin - Security - Very Helpful Kim - Waitress - Extremely jumpy when serving Beverages to the Roulette Table Haley - Waitress - Consistently helped me! Lucy - Gift Shop - Not engaging or show real interest until I gave her a tip, then she became outwardly bubbly. Michael - Janitorial - Pleasant & Professional Sharon - Roulette Dealer - Short & cold responses to my conversation. Not friendly at all. Didn’t even accept my tip when I finished at the table. Overall I had a great Birthday weekend with my small dogs! Justin made my check-in process smooth and accommodating.

  We come out to the Guitar Bar to listen to 241 Duo. Keith and Kelsey play great music and we really enjoy making an evening of it at the Guitar Bar when we see they’re on the schedule. Bar tenders are warm and friendly and it’s a relaxed and friendly crowd. Drinks are very affordable. We would love to see some slightly more premium drinks - we’d pay more for craft cocktails. I think Boomtown may be underestimating their audience (especially given they’re in Verdi), and we’d love to see some more creative options!

  Lowest possible effort hotel 👎 This is not a resort to visit for a family vacation. They treated us poorly for bring out pet, even though the website clearly states "pet-friendly" ⚠️ 1-ply toilet paper in the hotel room should tell you everything you need to know about how they want their guests to feel. How cheap can a hotel be??? We are your clients! Why do you charge us so much to treat us like this? Visiting a resort should be a fun experience, but this resort is nothing close to fun. We didn't even visit the casino because the whole place feels like a rip-off. We just went to sleep and then left. 100% we will never return. We arrived late from a long drive (11:15pm) having already booked our room in advance. The older gentleman at the dest struggled to assist the people in line before me and then was very slow in processing my credit card for an additional pet deposit. I didn't get checked into my room until 12:30am. More than an hour just to get check into our room because the night staff was under-trained and unfamiliar with the check-in process. If it wasn't so late and I hadn't paid in advance I would have cancelled and left. I certainly won't ever return for this atmosphere and service.

  "Horrible experience at Boomtown Casino Best Western in Reno. I posted a review 4 years ago about my nightmare stay here, and I'm back trying it out again. Staff was rude and unprofessional. As a long-time Best Western member (years), I was appalled. After a 650-mile drive on April 2nd, I had a payment processed via Best Western app, but they claimed it didn't go through (despite it showing pending on my bank app). 'Supervisor' Hayden (long hair, oversize suit, cocky attitude) yelled at me in the snack bar, in front of other customers, threatening to call security and kick me out. Took $100 incidental hold. I'm 56, not some young punk trying to scam for a free stay. Unacceptable customer service. Left mid-night and found better accommodations at Nugget Casino. Won't be back. Guess some things never change."
