We arrived and checked in room , The bathroom door broken , no bathroom towels found ,then I found a band aid in the bathroom shower wall , The heating unit made more noise and could not sleep . In the AM the Manager nowhere to be found. Understand it was a holiday . The staff did move us to a different room . The breakfast area is horrible the food is not worth the time . They have a sufficient staff to keep everything clean but was not clean , waffle maker filthy , bottles of syrup of sticky and a mess . But the food selection they have is awful, We went out to eat breakfast. Then we are in the middle of a snow storm and no shoveling of Snow on sidewalks? No salt thrown on passages to keep customers safe . Still no manager this is Tuesday Am and when a questioned the staff the said he comes and Goes . No accountability ! We paid 50k with points and definitely will not stay here again ! Let’s see if they contact me ….and the Elevator acting very bad and has a terrible vibration!

We had an excellent stay at Home2 Suites Reno. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and even ready early. My room in particular had great amenities: a 3/4‑size fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and a full set of dishes and silverware. The desk design was surprisingly clever, with a roll‑out section that works as a keyboard stand or even a breakfast‑in‑bed tray.
The front desk staff were consistently helpful. Occasionally you had to seek them out, but they were always close by and quick to assist. The hotel gym was also impressive for a property in this category, with a solid mix of free weights, treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, and a pulley machine.
The breakfast buffet was a highlight. It goes well beyond standard continental fare, with fresh waffles, customizable egg sandwiches, and always‑available coffee and hot water for tea. A great way to start the day.
Overall, a fantastic stay and an easy five stars.
Filthy room, AC so loud we had to unplug it, general manager Joaquin had zero care to resolve anything. This was our first stay at this location and now will be the last. The room was filthy and not just a 1 time accidentally skipped wiping that down. It was part of the routine with the amount of filth that was left.

I'll lay out the good and the bad.
Good:
Friendly staff when the language barrier wasnt in the way Great breakfast, always available coffee, clean pool, solid gym with weights up to 75lbs. Large room, clean room.
Bad: 1 elevator didnt work at all, the other is a safety and fire hazard. If a button was pressed on another floor while you were in it, it would switch priority to theirs. Sometimes it would just randomly redirect to the first floor.
The room had peeling wallpaper, a strange smell, the heater/ac couldnt decide what it wanted to do, there was missing trim, and the shower had some old stains on the floor.
The hallway smelled awful. A combination of BO, IBS, and cheap cleaning products mixed with pool chlorine.

The male staff member on the evening shift on January 17th had extremely poor service. When we complained about the elevator problem, he told us to climb the stairs to the fourth floor ourselves. Our room wasn't ready when we checked in at 3 PM! We had to wait. Considering the above-mentioned poor staff service, and the elevator malfunction issue that guests have been complaining about for six months! The hotel manager should not use the same response to answer guests.
