- KSKirk Sibley5 days ago2.0On business travel. Fitness center is important. However this hotel never communicated to guests that their gym would be under renovations. No notation in the website. No email sent out. No notification at check in from front desk staff. Just an innocuous post on the gym door itself noting that it was closed. Asked the hotel to knock 20 off the rate. Front desk staff spent a lot of time talking about how communication wasn’t up to them or how difficult it was to notify customers in advance while not mentioning that it wasn’t difficult to notify guests at check in. She towed the hard line and explained how they weren’t going to do anything about the experience and how it was up to us to decide to deal with it or check out and go somewhere else. Haven’t really experienced that level of apathy in the hospitality industry before. She apparently got her customer service training at the DMV. So that inability to discount the rate 10 percent will impact their business even more when i don’t stay there again or when one person reads this review and opts not to stay here.

Even had ev charging which saved me a good amount on super chargers. Highly recommend would for sure come back next time I’m in Reno.
