  The Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is one of our favorite hotel and casino destinations in Northern Nevada. We don’t visit as often as we used to, but it’s always such a wonderful experience when we do. What truly stands out is when employees remember you — even after many months. Meagan is fast, friendly, and provides excellent customer service! She not only remembered my face, but even my drink order. That kind of personal recognition makes me feel genuinely valued. It means so much to know that after all this time, she still remembered us and our order. Experiences like this are what keep us coming back.

  I went to a private event, specifically in one of the ballrooms. Sadly, the organization that hosted the event opted out of having any type of appetizers for guests for 2 hours before the dinner. I ended up having to go to the kid zone to buy a snack to hold myself over due to my blood sugar, starting to drop rapidly. The event started at five thirty, when they opened the doors at seven pm...mind you, they were serving a no host bar of alcohol with no food beforehand, not a good idea as mentioned.. We were let into the room, sat down at our tables and still no dinner service...Not even salads. We finally saw the salads come out, but then they sat against the wall for another ten to fifteen minutes... Finally, we got salads. By the time I was done with my salad, I realized that twenty minutes later everyone else was already starting to eat and had main dishes....except our table. I waited another ten to fifteen minutes, and then finally spoke to the server and asked her if we could please have our main dishes as well? She looked at me very upset and walked away. She came back plopped a plate of food in front of me and said, "thank you for your patience", which, I promptly, looked back at her and said "there's no need, because I obviously wasn't patient"... I was surprised at her rude attitude since most people were pretty frustrated with seeing food sitting on the sidelines. By the time I ate, it was almost eight thirty and I was very upset... I know that the CEO of this organization prides himself on having the best service in town, but there was definitely a lack of "my pleasure" coming out of the mouths of any of the servers that evening...oh well.

  This casino features an incredible buffet with a wide variety of delicious options. The casino floor has plenty of fun slot machines, and I was pleasantly surprised by the generous bonuses I hit on a few of them.

  Only 1.5 miles from the airport and downtown, this hotel is conveniently located and has all the amenities you need, especially during a snow storm like today. The spa is lovely, the cornucopia of quality dining options is robust, and if you’re attending a conference at the Convention Center, there is no better option.

The rooms are comfortable and spotless, the casino floor is lively without feeling overwhelming, and the restaurants are outstanding with tons of great options. Staff throughout the property are friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Whether you’re there to gamble, relax, eat well, or unwind at the spa, the Atlantis delivers a first-class experience every time. Highly recommend staying here when you’re in Reno. 🎰✨
