  BEWARE: Unauthorized retention of security deposit I am extremely disappointed with the financial conduct of this IHG property. Upon check-in on March 12th, a $100 security deposit was charged to my card. Despite checking out on March 14th and being promised a refund within 3 business days, the money has still not been returned (today is March 21st). The customer service experience has been abysmal: • Zero Transparency: I have contacted support multiple times, only to receive generic, scripted responses. • No Proof of Transaction: Management refuses to provide an ARN (Acquirer Reference Number) or any receipt proving the refund was actually initiated. • Bank Verification: As a Revolut user, I know the delay is not on the bank's end; the hotel simply hasn't triggered the release. If you value your money and don't want to spend a week chasing a "lost" deposit through endless chat bots and unhelpful agents, stay elsewhere. I have been forced to initiate a formal dispute (chargeback) with my bank to get my money back. Avoid this place if you expect professional financial management. Update (March 24th): Your response is both factually incorrect and deeply disappointing. To clarify, I have stayed at other accommodations booked after my stay with you, and those security deposits have already been released and returned to my account. It has now been 10 days since my checkout on March 14th, and the funds are still missing. As a Revolut user, I am well aware that these releases are processed instantly once the merchant triggers them. The fact that other properties have successfully returned my funds while you have not proves that the delay is on your end, not the bank's. Your claims are a total disappointment and, frankly, a lie.

  I stayed here for one night in between day trips to death Valley. It's located really close to several restaurants and about as close as you can get to death Valley for an affordable price in terms of accommodation so for me it was a no-brainer. It's not very fancy. No one expected it to be. They've got a basic free breakfast in the morning no complaints.
