The front desk staff went above and beyond, especially when I realized I had accidentally left some personal items behind. The clerk located them quickly and arranged to have them shipped back to me, which I really appreciated. There was a noisy patron one evening, but the staff handled the situation promptly and professionally. Overall, the service was attentive and considerate, and I left feeling well taken care of. I’d be happy to stay here again.

When I was seeking recommendations for dinner, they talked about their favorite restaurants, and offered to show me menus online. The room was well appointed and very clean. Given that it was winter, the heater and the thermostat worked very well. Some hotels in this class skimp on the bed linens, but the comforter was of moderate thickness. The whole property appeared to be immaculately maintained. There is an excellent indoor pool, and a very nice hot tub. Breakfast was very good. The Costa push button coffee maker is an improvement over the stale coffee in an urn. The large bowl of fresh fruit is also a nice touch. I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express hotels up and down California on Interstate 5, Highway101, etc. over the years when traveling for business or holiday. I have to say this is one of the best.
