  All the staff I encountered were great but I would never return. I saw bed bug crawling up my bed in. Luckily spotted before I spent the night in it. Left immediately.

  Please see details I posted!!! I definitely recommend this place if you are passing by for the night or two!! Everything is very much within walking or driving distance! I would stay here again!! For sure thank you Andy at the front desk, she was super helpful!! & Kind!!!! We enjoyed our stay here :)

  This very pleasant and attractive hotel is located conveniently off I-15. It's near to some good eateries and has a reasonably priced fuel station right across the street. Check in was quick and friendly. The room was comfortable. The bath and sink were stocked with liquid soap dispensers rather than the silly little bars of soap. A Big plus. Plenty of towels. Climate control was by thermostat rather than buttons on the wall A/C unit. In all, it was a decent hotel, especially given the price. The downsides: 1. Despite a double blackout shade, the room was far from dark at night. That appears to be caused by some sort of light shining on the window from outside. 2. The toilet paper was thin and hard. The kind one finds in convenience store toilets Not what one should expect from an otherwise classy hotel. 3. They touted their breakfast at $12.95. I figured it should be pretty good and a reasonable price. Not the case. It was exactly the same breakfast offerings to be found without additional cost in any mid-level hotel. So, hardly a bargain.

  Locks AC unit and refuses to allow guests to change the temperature below 20C/68F. When asked to remove the temperature control so that the AC is functional, they refused saying it will affect all rooms (they are individual controls and should not affect “all rooms” - similarly if you turn the temperature up/down in your room it does not affect the other rooms in the hotel). At first, they tried to say that it will “freeze” but most AC goes down to ~60 with no issues. They are severely understaffed so even checking in, speaking to them about this issue took over an hour. I ended up checking out and they provided me with a refund as it seems they would rather that than allow their guests to have real AC or control over the room. I checked into another hotel instead that had working AC and no restrictive temperature controls. If you’re considering this hotel, please also note this hotel is huge and very spread out... the parking lot, the front desk, the elevator, and the rooms are all very far from each other compared to most normal hotels - this is a huge pain and is a long way to carry your things.

  I am so happy I finally booked an overnight stay in Mesquite. What a gem this hotel is! From the moment I walked in last night, weary from terrible LA traffic. Melissa greeted me so warmly. Such a helpful and professional front desk agent. To Ian, who kindly came to my room to help me with my AC. To Millie’s wonderfully friendly face at the desk in the morning, eager to provide any assistance needed. To Julie at the restaurant who so kindly got my Caesar salad for me at the last minute upon my late arrival to the hotel. To the amazing Ruby in the breakfast room this morning who brightened my day with her kindness and beautiful smile. The lobby is just gorgeous with soft lighting. The rooms are immaculate (and dog friendly yay!) Love the double blinds. The pool area is great and clean and I can’t wait to come back once the lazy river is complete! Easy and plentiful parking. Beautiful workout room. Even an activities desk to help plan you stay in the area. This hotel is fabulous and I am so happy to have finally discovered this peaceful little town between Vegas and St George. Hooray and a huge thank you to the entire team here at Holiday Inn Resort Mesquite. We will see you again soon!
