  So disappointed in my most recent visit. My forgotten ITEM HAS NOT BEEN LOCATED and I am being giving the run around by the hotel staff. The hotel is poorly ran and the housekeeping is a private company so I imagine they are not invested in being honest. After calling for 2 days trying to get help locating my left behind toiletry bag (I am kicking myself for forgetting it at all), TODAY I finally spoke with a manager who hung up on me because I was frustrated that it has taken several days to get ANY information and he told me "There is nothing he can do about it". We tolerated this hotel in the past but will not be staying for future visits and nor should you. There are not many choices in Lovelock so it is a bummer to have to stay elsewhere. But honestly they did us a favor, the place is pretty gross and feels sticky if you know what I mean.

  The Surestay Hotel in Lovelock, NV was just right for our emergency layover to Sacramento, CA. The bed was very comfortable and the room was just basic but clean. Best part... it was pet friendly!

  Staff unavailable at the front desk. If you need someone, bring a lounge chair and a good book. Our room was poorly maintained. Though the room was large, they choose to fit the toilet into a ridiculously small walled in area that a child would have difficulty fitting into. Also, is you think there is a free breakfast, think again. They will insult you with a coupon for one egg, one piece of toast, a sausage, a hash brown, and coffee or tea. If that is your idea of a free hot breakfast, then you will be happy. Unfortunately, for a Best Western, this is the lowest value I have ever seen.

  This was a very interesting town. Very small. The hotel I was in was part of a small Casino. It was like a blast from the past....or backward into the future...who knows? Anyways, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would stay there anytime I am on a long, boring road trip across the United States. Woohoo!
