This place was absolutely hands down the worst hotel I have ever almost slept in. I had prepaid for an event thru a third party and the issues started immediately. Resort fees per day. Parking fees per day. Not included with the already paid hotel. Disgusting rooms that aren’t properly cleaned, dirty floors between the beds and walls, hair in the showers, splatter on the mirrors and walls, very dusty and with AC systems caked in thick blankets of dust. I was moved around to two different rooms while hauling over 80lbs of equipment, need a luggage dolly ? That will be a rental as well. Second room I was placed had an ancient AC system that was missing filters and extremely loud. They eventually replaced this unit with another ancient AC unit that was hardly quieter. The worst is I believe someone had tampered with my personal belongings while away from the room. Two bags missing from my backpack after leaving for approx 6 hours, upon returning I immediately reported this issue to staff/security ( which is a third party and not apart of the hotel? Probably to clean their hands of liabilities) I waited over two hours waiting for police to arrive and for the hotel security to give me some type of information. After two hours I started to press the front desk and eventually a supervisor stated that they need to look into and if anything had left the premises that the hotel wouldn’t be liable. ( The cops and management stated that these issues have happened before) After two hours waiting on information, I returned to my room and conveniently my missing bags were right back in the bag. This was the final straw, I grabbed all of my luggage and left the hotel that night. They refused to refund any of the prepaid nights since it was booked thru a third party. Only thing refunded was the resort fees, parking fees again have to be disputed with a third party. Amazing how this hotel can operate with third party services to wash their hands of liability. I will be reporting this to the state and they even had the audacity to tell one of my family members that I was extremely intoxicated which was an absolute lie. I will tell every single person I know about my terrible experience here and cannot wait until I watch this hotel get imploded on the local tv station. Do not stay here.
Update: apparently this oil thing is common across a lot of Vegas garages. I suppose being from Ohio the idea of people destroying things enmaas is more uncommon. :). The Manager of the hotel reached out and like the first lady I spoke with was super kind and understanding. As I expressed the majority of the issues were just annoyances I would have kept to myself. The scam attempt just got me as being IT, I see a lot of targeted scamming of the elderly etc so stuff like this hits close to home.
Anyways, we got the issue addressed and I have a completely different perspective of not only the establishment, but the people that run it.
Thanks!!!!!!
First time in Vegas ..and not impressed. Parking lot has so much oil. My shoes have a black coating.. It's been a problem for so long people have slapped shoes against it to make a mark... Every wall is covered with them.. we found nail clippings in the room all over the place. After picking up a few, we just took pictures and contacted staff.
Worst of all we were just exiting to leave. We were told we mistakenly were not given vouchers. There was a sales pitch about getting us into a tour for a partner hotel that just got renovated... All we had to do was do the tour and they give you a show, hotel stay, gift card and brunch. We got there and quickly realized it was a timeshare pitch with Cheez-It snacks. It was a mini battle to get my deposit back which ate into my time and caused anxiety during vacation. Management sounded like they were willing to upgrade us to suite but they said none were available. :/

Let me start by saying that my husband and I have been staying here for our trips since 2023. We’ve experienced some issues but nothing that wasn’t an easy fix and having a good supervisor do the most for us and our stay. The first issue, at the time they were remodeling and accidentally put us in room that wasn’t ready. No big deal they moved us no problem. Our next visit the A/C wasn’t working again, no big deal they moved us. Now this one….we just got back and dealt with the WORSE supervisor lack of professionalism, lack of communication just ignorance! Again, we checked in, went to our room. The A/C was messed up, the TV wasn’t working. We go down and let the lady know who was working at check in. We let her know and she goes well where are your belongings?Upstairs? Why? You need to bring them down with you. After I just took them up? Would you like to speak to a supervisor?! She’s didn’t even try to help. Yeah! Sure! Here comes the supervisor lol did you all mess with the A/C to see if it’s working. Sir, common sense of course we tried. The room was 85 degrees. Next question, did you bring your stuff back down. No, we came to get this situated first because we don’t know the outcome out and we had our baby. We just needed a different room that’s it. He pops off saying well it’s policy, I get it! But let’s get situated down here first and then we can move forward. Us moving rooms has never been a problem. He then goes well why wouldn’t you bring your stuff and why would you leave your baby in the 85 degrees room! Excuse me! He continues says he’s not allowed to switch rooms and he did anyways and goes on saying if this 2nd room doesn’t work out you all need to go elsewhere? How! The AC messing up is out of his hands and our hands? How is the AC messing up anybody’s fault?!? Ignorance!!!! He says they have policy’s they need to follow and switching out rooms when they’re busy isn’t part of it! Well…if your ACs weren’t always messing up this wouldn’t be a problem. Also! Don’t fall for the upgraded room. The north tower is OLD!!! The other 2 are the same upgrade remodeled rooms. So when they use the word upgrade it’s not an upgrade. As long as we’ve been staying there we will not return. Disrespectful customer service is a NO for me. A supervisor should present himself by always trying to do his best for the customer, by being respectful, speaking to them correctly and not popping off by being sarcastic!
We have always loved our experience and have met great people and friends along the way! Overall the rooms are always usually clean. We love the area, that’s why we always came back! It just went the other way by one individual who should not be a supervisor if he doesn’t know to deal with customers. Do better be better.

It had been a long time since I had stayed here & I can honestly say I would have preferred to be at Circus Circus, which is awful but you know that going in.
Ended up paying over $100 a night after resort fees, not including the $21 a day for parking I didn’t expect to pay for a hotel at the end of the strip.
The bed was awful. Zero support. You just sank into the middle of the bed and I’m 6’2” 220lbs, it almost felt like the beds were so old and worn out but upon further inspection, they were just thin, cheap mattresses.
I didn’t like that there wasn’t additional security with the room door, it is only the lock from the electronic lock, there isn’t a manual additional lock, so be aware.
The AC unit was the kind you would find at a less luxurious hotel, while it appeared new, it’s never my favorite type of unit as it keeps one side of the room freezing cold or super hot depending on how you’re using it.
The room just felt cheap in its current revamp. The first time I stayed at the Strat was 14 years ago right after a renovation and it was incredible. This felt like the rooms were fixed up by someone who flips homes for a living.
The staff seemed nice, I didn’t interact with them much other than the check in process.
The garage is nasty. I needs pressure washed on every floor. There are foot prints on every single piece of concrete in the ceiling, it’s extremely odd.
There was a lot of trash just around the garage, just little bits of things that I saw for days on end, it was clear that no one was going to be going through the garage and do more than just empty trash cans.
If the bed was nicer, parking was free, I would keep it on my list but I think it’s time to look for other alternatives.
My friend was staying at the Best Western by the airport and I stopped by and picked him up for dinner and his room looked about as nice as what I had and the amenities were the same in the hotel, plus free parking. No resort fee, cheaper priced room. It felt virtually the same, so what am I wasting my money for?
All of these added fees, adding a parking fee, etc, this is how Las Vegas dies if it isn’t careful. Tourism is already down year after year, it’s pretty obvious why.

Where to begin, This was our 2nd time staying here, and once again The Strat check in was very unpleasant after a 10 hr drive. The agent tried to sell us an upgraded room for 65 more a night, we declined in hopes the one we booked for the week would have some sort of view, but it did not. Also upon looking at said upgraded room he offered, we could have booked it online for way cheaper that he was trying to upgrade it to.The resort fees come with no amenities/perks as you still end up paying 20.00 a day for parking, most all the restaurants were closed most of the time, and you didnt have many options .We checked in on Sunday it was very quite on the 9th floor. Until Thursday night! Then it was like a stampede of water buffalo all night ! Reeked of weed so bad( none smoking floor) or so we thought. Our view consisted of the roof top / spot lights/fans. And the lights beamed through the curtains all night. Also the AC in the bedroom area didn't worked well it was very warm in there all night.we would have to go out to the living room area( we did report it and were told we couldn't be moved due to limited rooms, BUT WERE OFFERED TO UPGRADE ONCE AGAIN.. The Tub didnt drain so when u took a shower the water filled the tube about 2 inches, the shower curtain sticks to you because it is Literally installed like 2 ft from the wall, and rather then a rounder curtain rod,it was straight you literally have to stand side ways to shower! The best part of our experience was The Uber driver that picked us up,and recommended us a different hotel with much more respect for their guests. Understanding Vegas is the city of money/sins/and good times. Feeling like a trash guest is uncalled for. Also seeing another customer at check in slip a $20 in between his ID and card at check in .. works.. He got a upgrade for no additional hassle. Id say we'd try that next time. But there won't be a next time for us. Which is to bad were bringing a party of 8 next time we come.! Strat's got alot of needed improvements to accommodate their guest, efficiently and fairly. I hope noone else experiences as bad of a time as we did this go round. Wish we would have learned the first time we stayed 2 yrs ago.
