Encore at Wynn Las Vegas is a beautiful property if you judge it by appearances alone. Unfortunately, the actual guest experience tells a very different story. We requested a quiet room. What we got instead was a front-row seat to a nightclub that runs like a 4:00 AM endurance test. Not nearby, not faintly audible, but fully immersive. The bass doesn’t “carry”, it takes over. From the 62nd floor, the room quite literally vibrated. Sleeping wasn’t difficult, it was irrelevant. At one point, the only usable “quiet space” was the bathroom. That’s not hyperbole. When your best option in a five-star hotel is sitting next to a toilet for relief from the noise, something has gone fundamentally wrong. The most surprising part wasn’t even the noise, it was the response. When we called the front desk, we were told this is something guests should know. That’s not a solution, that’s a disclaimer delivered after the fact. Especially concerning given we had explicitly asked for a quiet room. There’s clearly a decision being made here, and it’s not in favor of guests who want to sleep. The property does an excellent job serving its nightlife audience. It does a remarkably poor job setting expectations for everyone else. If your plan is to party until sunrise, you’ll probably love it. If your plan is to rest, recharge, or experience anything resembling hospitality, this may not be the place. Encore isn’t failing by accident. It’s choosing who it prioritizes. Just make sure you know which side you’re on before you book.

Horrible doesn’t even cover it this place turned a hotel stay into a front row seat to a nightclub you never asked for. Stay at the Encore if your dream vacation is reliving your college party days against your will until 4:00 AM. We weren’t just hearing music we were experiencing it. Bass thumping walls vibrating full on techno takeover. From the 62nd floor no less. You’d think we were sleeping inside the DJ booth instead of a luxury hotel room. At one point the only quiet room we found was the bathroom yes the bathroom became our sanctuary. Nothing says five star experience like curling up next to a toilet just to escape the noise. Called the front desk Oh they hit us with the classic someone should have told you. Should have Maybe try actually telling guests before handing them a room above a full blown rave especially after we specifically asked for a quiet room. Management clearly doesn’t care unless you count caring about the party more than the paying guests. Save your money unless you’re planning to DJ your own sleep deprivation tour.

Encore at Wynn Las Vegas is, without a doubt, one of the most spectacular hotels in the world. It is a true visual masterpiece where you are greeted at every turn by iconic butterfly motifs, incredible floral arrangements, and plush, high-end carpets that perfectly complement the vibe of absolute luxury. The attention to detail in the lobby and hallway decor is simply fascinating. The culinary experience is another major highlight, especially the breakfast at "The Buffet," which is absolutely fabulous. The variety and quality of the dishes are hard to match, turning the first meal of the day into a true gourmet treat in a fairy-tale setting. The only minor area for improvement would be the front desk experience. While the staff is efficient, the check-in process can sometimes feel a bit rushed, leaving the impression that the attention given to the guest is more functional than personalized. However, this small detail pales in comparison to the sheer beauty and vibrant energy of the resort.

The Wynn and Encore are the best hotels we’ve stayed at on the Las Vegas Strip. The restaurants are outstanding, the pools are incredible, the gyms are excellent, the common areas are stunning, the location is perfect, and the rooms are top-tier. Service was generally very good, the concierge was excellent, and it was a big step up from MGM. We stayed using FHR on two separate trips and had a wonderful experience overall. That said, we did have two frustrating checkout issues. At Encore, our guaranteed 4 PM late checkout was processed at noon. When we returned to the room at 1:30, housekeeping had already cleaned it out, bagged up all our clothes, and thrown away our toiletries. The other issue was with the folio—a thirty-dollar welcome drink wasn’t credited. The staff member insisted the computer wasn’t wrong and that we were misreading it, even after we showed her the FHR paperwork. Only then did she finally acknowledge the mistake, but she never apologized and even mentioned she had just been appointed manager that day. Still, those were the only hiccups. Everything else was excellent, and we’d happily return.

Encore is hands down the hotel to book when staying in Vegas. We booked through the Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts program and were upgraded to a Tower Suite — an upgrade that is absolutely worth it. Tower Suite perks include twice-daily housekeeping and access to the exclusive Tower Suites pool over at Wynn. The FHR benefits were great: $30/person daily breakfast credit, plus a $150 spa credit that we were able to get applied to food and beverage (worth asking, though not guaranteed). They also honored our early check-in request at noon, which was a huge plus after a morning flight. The room itself was a great size with a comfortable bed and a surprisingly solid view from the 9th floor (out of 63 floors). Loved the complimentary in-room amenities — Dyson hair dryer, shaving cream, and other nice touches you don’t always get. The bathroom was spacious, though I’d note the shower was a bit smaller than expected and lacked a rain head. The pool situation is a major highlight. Encore guests get access to Encore’s main pool and European-style 21+ pool, plus all of the Wynn pools — including the main pool, 21+ European pool, and the Tower Suites pool (our favorite). Wynn guests don’t get reciprocal access to Encore, so staying here gives you the best of both worlds. Fantastic stay all around. If you’re deciding where to stay on the Strip, Encore is the move.
