Just took my first trip to Las Vegas. We decided to stay right off of The Strip so opted for The Platinum Hotel and Spa. The location was perfect. Most of our destinations were within walking distance. The rooms were like apartments. Clean, comfortable and great views. The staff could not have been nicer. Shania at the front desk was extremely accommodating. We ate in the lounge area. Andrew the bartender was very kind and attentive. We ate there twice and the food was delicious. Andrew made delicious drinks. We ate breakfast at the 5th floor restaurant. Food was great and Justis our server was polite and attentive. Our flight was late at night. They stored our luggage til departure time and let us hang out in the lounge though we checked out at 11AM. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Great hotel and location. It has an indoor and outdoor pool. The hotel has a big capital, all you need is to get a slip from reception to display on your dash for the duration of the stay. It is a 10 minute walk from the Sphere and about 10 minutes from the main strip. The suite was big, had a lounge area and kitchen including washing machine and dryer. There is a huge balcony with tables and chairs. The main bedroom had 2 quuen size beds that can sleep 4 and the lounge has a sofa bed to sleep an additional 2 people. The bathroom is also big, has 2 sinks a shower and a massive bathtub that can seat 2 people. The only bad point was that we could have doing with a room clean 3 days into the trip instead of the day before we left.

Absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. We were not told the bar would be CLOSED, the Restaurant would be CLOSED, the Spa was CLOSED and taking down the F1 track outside so 24 hours of noise and walking past homeless sleeping to get to an uber at a gas station because the road was closed. There was no indication of this on our “welcome” letter, nothing in the elevators, nothing on the website. Acted like everything was open. We also never once when coming and going saw someone at the front desk after checking in,. Manager would not talk to me, left the front desk staff to talk with us. Horrible management.

The location is great! It's a short walk to the Venetian Expo where we were attending a convention. It's so nice not to have to walk through a smokey, crowded casino. We have our own apartment for less money. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful and they do above and beyond. I return here every year and I see the same people frequently. That tells me the management is top notch if the employees are staying. We love the nice touch of a free bottle of wine, although the last two years we have not had time to drink it, but it's a great touch none the less.
