The hotel is fine, the facilities are all right, the only bad thing is that when booking and staying, they have to give you a place to park your car and they have it, but what they will never tell you is that you have to pay for parking separately, they just charge you and mark them and tell them if they are charged for parking their car. Descriptions read: Parking included.

We stayed here for one night during our drive from LA to SLC. At first everything seemed great and the room was nice, but then after running tub water a horrible rotten egg smell started coming out of the drain. The staff switched us to another room, which was almost directly below the last one. Same issue. We were moved again, to the opposite side of the hotel. Luckily, no issues with plumbing there. However, the bathroom was really dingy. With weird stains on the walls and floor and dirty caulk. Bedroom seemed better, bed was comfortable. There were nice Dove toiletries. Staff was nice, and I felt bad for the front desk guy who had to keep switching us around (possibly other guests too?) We wouldn’t stay here again though.

The experinece was great, we stayed for two nights. Room was clean and cozy. The dining area needs more improvment to accept larger groups and crowds. Breakfast was good. The receiption lady was very friendly and welcoming I wish I had her name.

Not right on the Strip, which I actually liked because it felt a lot less crowded. That said, parking ended up being $22 with tax, which was pretty disappointing for a non-Strip hotel… but I guess that’s just how Vegas works. The hotel is a bit older, but honestly that’s not unusual around here, so I didn’t mind that part. What I did mind a little bit was the cleanliness. The floor and bathroom weren’t spotless — I noticed what looked like hard cookie/cracker crumbs on the floor, and even found an eyelash in the bathroom. Not a huge deal, but it definitely made it feel less “clean clean.” Breakfast was fine, nothing special, just basic. But it looked a little messy/chaotic, and I’m guessing it’s because there was only one person managing it. One more thing: flyers were being slipped under the door. It wasn’t the flyer itself that bothered me — it was more the feeling that basically anyone could walk around inside the hotel doing that. I know I’m listing complaints, but it’s not a bad hotel. Overall it was pretty average and totally fine for a stay — I just wish the little details were handled better.

Worst stay I’ve ever experienced in Holiday Inn Express. I know it’s just three star business hotel, but my family has been happy with it for family trips… until this morning. The breakfast food was all gone when I was at the breakfast area at 8:30AM. Waited more than an hour but only a few foods are refilled. Trash cans are full, coffee machines are broken, frig was empty. I don’t know if it’s temporary (just today) or in general their customer service is this bad. The breakfast area was also dirty. Juice machine tray was overflowing, tables are not cleaned. Room was clean and ready when I checked in though.
