The staff, rooms, and view are off the charts! Thank you for a wonderful vacation. The room was spacious, clean, offered a gorgeous view and was equipped with everything you could need to have a great stay. The establishment is clean. I never expected to find somewhere in Vegas that wouldn't smell like too many ppl smoked, but it does exist!! The location is an issue due to the offerings proximal to the establishment. The food court offerings were lacking. Ketchup offered great burgers, however I'm not Popeye's buddy Wimpy. I didn't order room service, so that's a shame on me! A word of caution, you should avoid Flights if you're looking for a chicken sandwich.

We love staying at Elara. It's always a quality experience. It feels like a home away from home for us. The closest casino is at Planet Hollywood on the Miracle Mile (a short walk through the mall), and Elara is a no smoking facility. There are lots of food choices in the mall; and shopping! It's roughly mid Strip, so lots of places are walkable if you're up to it or cabs are always available. Parking can be an adventure, but it's on site. We prefer using cabs, ride share and The Deuce(bus). Check in is fast and easy. No lines or short ones. Lots of speedy elevators, so consider an upper floor. The view is spectacular (floor to ceiling windows!) We usually get a one bedroom with a full kitchen, laundry, jet tub. If you want snacks, there's a convenience store on property (a bit spendy), or get an Instacart delivery (worked well for us). The pool area is very nice with cabanas, lounges and plenty of poolside food and drink service. The pool staff is friendly and helpful. The pool is open March to October. It is closed during the Formula 1 racing event when it is transformed into an on-course viewing area. If you love F1, the Elara is a great place to be, but reserve early!

The Hilton Grand Vacation Club Elara property is centrally located on the Las Vegas strip and the perfect accommodation for business travel, leisure, or a family-friendly staycation! The property has its own entrance from the Planet Hollywood parking garage but also provides valet service, which makes parking a breeze. The hotel is connected to the Planet Hollywood, which has the Miracle Mile shopping, but also casino gaming all within walking distance. You're able to rent videos onsite, which you can watch on a drop-down projector in your room, or you can enjoy many of the properties other amenities, including lobby bar and market/gift shop.

As a returning guest and preferred member of Hilton Grand Vacations, I have enjoyed multiple positive stays at the Elara in the past. However, Prior to our arrival this past week, I engaged with the concierge service several times to arrange specific accommodations for my party, including placement on the same floor, dinner reservations, a room upgrade, early check-in, and late check-out. These requests were acknowledged, fostering expectations of a seamless experience. Upon arrival, we found the requested services unavailable: dinner reservations hadn't been made, early check-in was denied, late check-out was unavailable due to the late request (despite prior coordination), and our group was assigned to separate floors. Inquiries at the front desk or the VIP room expressed no record of these arrangements. Oddly, the front desk stated specifically that the VIP accommodations do not transfer over to the front desk. Her example was that if I coordinated a late checkout with them, I was wasting my time. Additionally, the offered room upgrade required an extra 6,000 points, contradicting the complimentary offer we were given with preferred plus membership. The VIP counter suggested purchasing an upgrade, while free options were unavailable. Finally, a minor gesture of complimentary water involved retrieving it from a low cabinet and unpacking it manually, which felt inconsistent with standard hospitality practices. These oversights not only disrupted our stay but also caused embarrassment, as I aimed to demonstrate the property's service to my guests. While I understand that not all requests are guaranteed, the discrepancy between promised and delivered services was particularly disheartening. Unfortunately, my travel guests were not impressed with my experience.

I recently stayed at Hilton Grand Vacations at Elara for a business trip. Many of the team members on property were wonderful, the check-in staff, associates near the elevators, the Starbucks team, and the woman in the small concession shop were all friendly and helpful. At check-in, I was asked if I would like housekeeping service and I said yes, but it never happened. The complimentary perk toward Starbucks or bottled water was also disappointing, when I went to redeem water, I was told they were out. The room itself was also underwhelming. Despite several visible warnings about smoking in the room, it smelled like stale smoke upon arrival. Additionally, business travelers should be aware that if you’re placed in one of the lower roadside rooms, there is significant traffic noise and frequent honking at night, even midweek (Wednesday and Thursday during my stay). I found myself putting headphones on to sleep. The most frustrating part was trying to obtain my final bill. I couldn’t find it in the app or through my corporate American Express travel profile, so I called the hotel directly, not the 800 number, and spoke with someone at the front desk. When I mentioned that I typically access my stays through the Hilton app, I was told they didn’t know anything about it. They confirmed my email address and said they would send the folio and to check my spam folder if I didn’t see it. When I responded, “Thank you,” the call was immediately disconnected. It simply wasn’t the level of service I would expect. While there were certainly bright spots with some of the staff, the overall inconsistencies make this a property I would not return to, whether for business or otherwise.
