    We stayed here in September and again this week. The hotel is close to family and convenient when we visit. In September. Heck-in and our 2 night stay went well. This week we again used the digital check-in. The app would not unlock our door. Went to the front desk and it was reset, but also got a key card. App still did not work. Key card also did not work. Back to the desk. No apology. Clerk called for maintenance to meet us. As I walked back to the room another employee called for me to tell me to lift the door handle up not down. She and maintenance met us at the room and that worked. I asked why we were not told at the desk we needed to do that (other rooms open down or up). Next day app still is not working. Went to desk as was asked to try the fitness center. It worked. So it was the room lock that was the issue. Still no apology. Also, hot tub down. I asked when it would be repaired since we will be back in November for a week in two rooms. No one at the desk could answer. No worries, we won’t return. The room was clean and good sized. Breakfast service and choices are great.

    We changed our reservation to stay here from the La Quinta next door because we were not happy with the condition of their room. The Hampton proved to be a good decision for our change. The first thing that was different is the gift of 2 bottles of water, a can of soda and our choice of a snack. That alone probably covered the difference of price in the room. We felt valued and appreciated as a customer. Room was a bit larger, bed was much more comfortable. The one and only complaint we have is that the hot water was just warm. It wasn’t warm enough to take a comfortable shower.
