Overall, my stay was excellent, and the staff made it even better. The front desk employee, Angelina, was absolutely wonderful and provided top-notch service. When I checked in, she greeted me warmly and even offered me a bottle of water. I arrived a bit early, but instead of simply telling me that my room was not yet available, she proactively contacted housekeeping to check on room availability. Her kindness and willingness to help made a great first impression and truly set the tone for my stay. The concierge employee, Patti, was also fantastic. When I asked how to get to the CES shuttle, she didn’t just explain it verbally — she personally walked me through the main entrance and showed me a couple of options. Her attentiveness and clear guidance were greatly appreciated and made the experience seamless. Both Angelina and Patti went above and beyond, and I would love to see them recognized for their outstanding service.

Our stay at Encore Las Vegas was nothing short of exceptional. From arrival to departure, every detail reflected world-class luxury and impeccable service. The property is stunning, the atmosphere elegant, and the rooms are spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed for comfort and relaxation. What truly sets Encore apart is the level of hospitality. The staff was consistently professional, attentive, and genuinely warm, creating an experience that felt both luxurious and welcoming. It’s clear that this culture of excellence starts at the top, and General Manager Lee Long deserves special recognition for leading such an outstanding team. Encore continues to set the standard for excellence on the Las Vegas Strip, and we look forward to returning. Highly recommended.

I experienced a sudden, unexpected medical emergency and attempted to cancel my trip two days before check-in. My check-in date was Monday, January 5, 2026, and I requested cancellation and a refund on Saturday, January 3, 2026. This was during CES week, when demand in Las Vegas is extremely high, meaning there was still ample opportunity for Wynn to resell the room. Despite multiple attempts to contact Wynn management directly and to provide medical information, Wynn refused to engage with me and instead hid behind Expedia because the booking was made through them. I was also clear that I intended to stay and gamble at Wynn on my next visit to Las Vegas. After several days of confusion and back-and-forth with Expedia—caused by Wynn management repeatedly passing responsibility—I was ultimately informed by Expedia that Wynn had denied my request for cancellation and a full refund, citing a December 22 cancellation deadline. I understand that policies exist, but this was a rare and genuinely unexpected medical event, and Wynn could have handled the situation with far more grace rather than relying on rigid, predatory practices. Given the timing and demand during CES, I strongly suspect the room was re-rented while I was still charged, effectively allowing Wynn to double dip. Wynn management will likely respond to this review by pointing to internal policies, but this issue ultimately comes down to one thing: how you treat your guests and how you treat people. As a result of this experience, I will never stay at the Wynn again, nor will I gamble there in the future.

I never expected to feel unsafe or unheard at a place I had trusted for years especially in the Tower Suites. I have stayed at this property many times over the years, with family and friends, and it has always been the only hotel on the Strip I truly loved and recommended. The comfort, service, and sense of security were what kept me coming back until my most recent stay on November. During this last visit, several shopping bags containing recent purchases disappeared from inside my hotel room. I reported the situation immediately and trusted the internal process, especially knowing that something clearly unusual had occurred in my room. I fully cooperated over the course of several weeks. Unfortunately, the items were never recovered, and I was ultimately informed that no compensation or meaningful resolution would be offered. What matters most to me is not the monetary value of the purchases, I was not expecting special treatment, only a fair and reasonable outcome. What truly affected me was having items go missing from a space meant to feel private and safe, and then feeling dismissed during the follow-up. For a hotel of this caliber, the way this was handled fell far below the standard I had come to expect. I’m sharing this so other guests are aware and can take extra precautions with their belongings. It’s deeply disappointing to say that this stay changed how I now feel about a place I genuinely loved for many years.

I’m currently staying at Encore Las Vegas, and unfortunately my experience here has been disappointing—especially in comparison to my previous stay at the Wynn, which is Encore’s sister property. Based on how seamless, welcoming, and luxurious my experience was at the Wynn, I expected the same level of service here. That has not been the case. To be clear, not all staff have been an issue. The bellhop and concierge were excellent—friendly, professional, and helpful. However, my interactions with the front desk and housekeeping coordination have been frustrating and uncomfortable. Upon arrival, the front desk agent ( A young petite asian lady ) who assisted me was cold, dismissive, and unnecessarily argumentative. I explained that during my stay at the Wynn, a dining credit was applied to in-room dining and I did not need to physically dine at a restaurant. Instead of listening, she repeatedly told me that “that has never happened” and implied I was mistaken, despite my willingness to provide proof. She spoke in a dry, condescending manner that lacked basic hospitality. The following day, I encountered another issue. Since we are only staying two nights, I opted out of housekeeping and placed the room on privacy status. I neatly bagged our trash and placed the in-room dining tray (just a champagne bucket and glasses) outside the door before leaving for the Spa—something I have done at many hotels, including the Wynn, without issue. When I returned, everything was still outside the room, yet there was a notice stating housekeeping attempted service but couldn’t enter due to privacy. I didn’t understand why trash and dining items weren’t collected if housekeeping went to our room. When I called the front desk for clarification, I was told—in a blaming tone—that guests “aren’t supposed to do that,” which again contradicted my past experiences at this hotel group and others. Although they eventually sent someone to retrieve the items and deliver towels, the situation became unnecessarily excessive. Two additional staff members later came to my door asking if anything needed to be picked up—even though the issue had already been resolved and there was nothing outside the room. While I was actively writing this review, a third person came to the door again asking to collect trash. At that point, it felt intrusive and uncomfortable rather than helpful. One staff member also lingered at the doorway and repeatedly looked into my room, asking if I needed cleaning after I had already declined. The repeated visits and lack of coordination felt unsettling. What concerns me most is the overall tone and treatment I’ve received from certain staff members. I’ve noticed dismissive behavior, unwelcoming body language, and uncomfortable looks that made me feel singled out rather than respected as a guest. I did not experience anything like this during my stay at the Wynn, where interactions felt more courteous, professional, and warm. Encore has beautiful rooms and some genuinely great employees, but the inconsistency in service—particularly at the front desk and with housekeeping communication—has overshadowed the stay for me. Based on this experience, I would return to the Wynn without hesitation, but I will not be staying at Encore again.
