I will start off by saying this was always on my bucket list. To celebrate my 20th anniversary, I decided to go for it. Encore is the epitome of class and luxury. The service is impeccable and the whole atmosphere and attention to detail is second to none. It’s really the people that have made it special. From the great personnel at the front desk when we checked in, my apologies, I did not remember their names, to the great servers, bartenders, and other personnel I saw, they all made the stay amazing. I also want to give a shout out to Alana, who even after going out her way to help us on a phone call we had as we set up or stay; after a couple months came back and checked up on us, again going out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. I have dealt with numerous people during my travels, and she must be one of, if not the best example that epitomizes service I have ever seen. To even, months later come back and check on us, she is something special.
The reputation I have always heard was that the Wynn/ Encore was the best or at least, arguably so. Everything I witnessed and experienced easily backs that up. Everything was second to no none. The smallest details were taken care of, whether it was the condition of the rooms, the condition of the grounds, the condition of the resort, it was all impressively and meticulously maintained. It is a reminder that, while so many businesses and resorts look for ways to cut costs, here it feels like the guest comes first, that the adage, “if you build it, they will come”, is front and center. What is also special is that while on property, you can have two different experiences. If the Wynn is more formal, a stately manor, let's say, the encore is the beach house down at the cape. Beautiful, luxurious with an atmosphere of tranquility. To me, there is no comparison between the Wynn/Encore resort and anything else in Las Vegas, it is the best. It earns its reputation of being so and I am glad to have experienced it.
While there are several people I wish I could name, I have either misplaced their names or forgotten, which is in no way reflective of their skills or the level of professionalism and/or passion they displayed. There is one standout, it is Alana, she outdid herself in a phone call we had months before my trip, going far above expectations. During our stay, she came back to make sure we were doing well as well and sending us a gift with a personified message hoping our stay would be memorable and wishing us a happy anniversary. It is that detail, that commitment and passion that exemplifies the reputation for service the Wynn and Encore are known for. I also want to shout out to the front desk, everyone who I met was amazing, helpful, courteous, and professional. From the time I stepped into the Encore to the time I left, everyone I met, made my stay that much better, including the people who answered the comm in the parking lot when I had issues getting out.
