The neighborhood is quite iffy, especially when you turn left once you get out of the hotel. If you go down Flamingo you'll be fine. That said, it's a good off the beaten path hotel in Las Vegas. No gambling, away from the noise and crowds, but still walkable. It's my hotel of choice when going to see the F1 Grand Prix.

The room was horrible as soon as the doors opened on the elevator onto the 5th floor the smell hit first then u look down at the carpet and u know why. The rooms are out dated no microwave so if u want to heat anything up you have to go back down to the lobby. The breakfast was not very good at all and staff will get to you when they feel like it. The views are wonderful as long as you like looking at struggling homeless people and rundown neighborhood apartments. Igot out of the uber from the airport and was greeted by 2 homeless people arguing with their split personalities. Advising my company to remove this hotel from our stay list.

Friendly front desk. Really comfy soft bed. The restaurant food was good considering it's a hotel. Parking was secured, although it's not free. ...I liked the place overall.
Downsides: Plumbing problems. Flushing the toilet made the sink gurgle up stuff each time. And sewage smells. Also in the morning the planes flight right above the hotel every couple minutes which was pretty loud.

Absolutely terrible experience at DoubleTree by Hilton Las Vegas East Flamingo. The front desk staff, Sailed, was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. When we requested a baby crib (we were travelling with kids), she insisted the hotel doesn’t provide any — yet housekeeping brought one to us immediately.
When questioned, she rudely replied, “This is a 3-star hotel, not a 5-star hotel.” That’s no excuse for poor service or attitude. So I can't request for a crib for my baby because it's a 3-star hotel?!
To make things worse, we’re Hilton Diamond members whom are entitled to daily F&B credit, but Sailed denied it and boldly charged the bill to my card instead. Completely unacceptable behavior, especially from someone representing Hilton.
The only saving grace of our stay was the housekeeping team and engineer, Ivica, who were polite, efficient, and genuinely helpful. They were the only ones who showed any standard of hospitality.
Front desk staff like Sailed ruin the entire experience. This property is far below Hilton’s usual standard — stay elsewhere if you expect even basic respect and service.
Hi Sailed, if you aren't out to provide service, please don't work in the service industry! We dont owe you a living! You made me having second thoughts if Hilton Diamond is worth investing.
