- AMalana millerDec 12, 20255.0What a wonderful hotel! You get a suite, not just a room. It is a 1 bedroom apartment. Living room, bedroom, nice kitchenette and large bathroom! TV in both the bedroom and living room. The kitchen has dishes, etc so if you would like to save money and cook, you have can easily do that. The bed was very comfortable. It was very clean. They are close to the strip so you can walk if you want to. (I put in almost 20,000 steps the first day) It is also near public transportation, the monorail has a stop right across the street at the MGM Grand. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is a Dennys 2 doors down for 24 hour food. THey have a pool, exercise room and laundry facilities. They also have a small store there with foods, snacks and drinks. I had never stayed with them before but I know if I am in vegas again, I sure will stay there again. I was impressed with them.
- KBKaren BestNov 23, 20254.0Quieter than most of the locations on or near the strip. The bluegreen timeshare is really noisy with air traffic, but candlewood is actually pretty quiet. Great little place for your pup to relieve themselves. Staff was super nice. Great jumping off point for the strip with the MGM monorail literally across the street. Beware of the parking sharks. I must have been checking in, getting my bearings, was in a spot with no pay sign in front....this is a shared parking lot. it's a joke. Metropolis is who collects the money not the hotel. Anyway, I had a guest certificate and was told it was included. The manager was nice to take care of it, which is a plus. Some managers you never see or they just don't care after being in the business for 4-5 years. The kitchenette was adequately stocked. Only thing really missing was a flipper for pancakes and eggs, but we made it work. Hot tub was a little cool, I'm sure when Vegas is 90+ it's ok. The bbq and pool areas all were well kept.
