Only after asking a food establishment, we were directed through a door within that establishment to get to the front desk. Certainly not inviting, but the rooms were clean and decent. Just a place to sleep.
- TYT YNov 11, 20253.0Some people will say the most important thing is location, location, location. If that were true this place would be 5 stars. It is conveniently located right on the strip, free parking, everything you need within walking distance. However, when we checked in the desk clerk was most focused on getting us to gamble. (EVERYTHING in Vegas is in a casino.) She was supposed to opt us out of housekeeping, but forgot to do so. The 2nd day when I went to the desk to ask a question I was directed to "go to the end of the line." There was only 1 other customer there!! The hotel is obviously quite old, but they have done some updates. The room was clean. It is a casino, but you have to go through the casino to get to the elevators to go to your room. Between the cigarette smoke and whatever they pipe into the casino to try and hide the cigarette smoke, our eyes were burning and we were hacking and coughing by the time we left. They do not have a restaurant. There is a Subway and a Denny's on site. When I went to the Subway, they had an order for 45 sandwiches, so they couldn't take 3 minutes to make one sandwich for me. Denny's was okay, your typical Denny's, but EXTREMELY expensive.

- MMMike MOct 23, 20255.0The BestWesternPlus Casino Royale exceeded our expectations. It isn’t the newest hotel on the strip but what it lacks was made up by the friendly staff. Our room was updated, clean and quiet. Parking is free, there is no resort fees and the you are right on the strip. Tons of restaurants of every type and price range nearby. If you are going to the Sphere it is about a 1 mile walk starting out next door at Harrah’s, walking through to the back to the valet area and starting there - longer walk through the Venetian Hotel. You can’t beat the value that this hotel provides. We highly recommend it.
