- KMKristen MacDonaldJan 3, 20262.0I would never stay at this hotel again!! We were there at the end of November and got bed bug bites from both rooms we stayed in. They had a third party 'test' the room but in the confirmation shown, there were many other rooms also tested. It says in the report all rooms were negative but it is telling that if that many rooms are being searched, there are more people complaining. There is nothing I can do to help future guests because the test is 'negative'. But I can say with 100% confidence (and I don't ever write reviews) that this is the only place we could have received the bed bug bites. They showed up 24 hours later and I've never had them since, nor had I stayed anywhere else in the past 6 months. Freshly-made omelets included in free breakfast was amazing. Front desk staff during our stay were very friendly.

The generator was not working, which happens, but what I was most disappointed with was not once did anyone of the staff come and check on us or offer us a light. The room definitely needs renovation, and the overall condition was disappointing. The bathroom is very dated and had a noticeable moody smell, which made the stay uncomfortable. Not experience we expected based on the listing.
- MBMeggan BouvetNov 20, 20255.0This is one of the best Best Westerns I have stayed at ever. Wonderful friendly staff! The rooms in the main building are a good size, and very clean. The beds were the most comfortable of our trip, even Goldilocks would approve not too hard, not too soft. The temperature in the room was also very comfortable, a difficult balance to achieve in late fall. We enjoyed a swim in the pool which is clean, well maintained and not overchlorinated. Then we were pleasantly surprised by our free breakfast in the restaurant where a buffet with a chef at an omelet station served our food. We only stayed for a night, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay longer.
