  terrible parking. Tight spaces, layout poor, good luck to whoever is unfortunate enough to have to navigate it. The hotel itself is fine. Again, the layout is poor so difficult to find your way around or find your room, but the service and food was good.

  Stayed here for 3 nights, the buffet hot breakfast is very good and the restaurant has a beautiful view of Chocolate lake. Good service, very friendly staff and clean rooms. Th A/C can be a bit loud, 10 minutes drive from Downtown Halifax but in a quiet neighborhood.

  We wanted a drive up room which we were happy to have at this location, and the view just out the door is just beautiful! The rooms themselves could use a renovation. The morning buffet was great and high chairs are available!

  This was by far the loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We stayed 3 nights here and every night kids were screaming, running up and down the halls until 12am and you can hear the elevators running in your room 24/7. The parking situation is awful as well. They don’t have enough spots to accommodate. The shower didn’t drain, you’d take a 5 minute shower and the bath tub was full. The rooms are small and the bed isn’t comfortable The breakfast was probably the best part about our stay. They do make a good breakfast in the morning however we wouldn’t stay here again unfortunately

  When we got to the hotel after check in we had to park around the back in a unlit parking spot, the back entrance door was unlocked, when we got to our room it was very far from the front desk, the walls were so thin we could hear what the room next to us was saying clear as day while they were talking in normal tones, we changed room but as we walked by the other room we smelled weed, we got to our new room which was much better and more quiet but when we were getting ready to head to be we saw a bunch of long black hair behind the bathroom door, ew, as diamond members we expected much more. We love the company but this hotel best western chocolate lake fails to meet the standard we’ve come to know at other best western locations.
