The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was very quiet, which I really appreciated. My room was clean, comfortable, and a good size. The bed was mostly comfortable, though a bit too stiff for me as a side sleeper—my shoulder ached in the morning. The AC was very cold when I first arrived, so I shut it off. Later, when I tried to turn it back on before bed, it wouldn’t work. Oddly enough, it came back on in the morning without issue. The shower, on the other hand, was excellent—great water pressure and plenty of hot water. At check-in, I asked if the rooms had microwaves. The desk clerk wasn’t sure at first, which I thought was a little strange, but she immediately followed up with a kind offer to heat anything for me if needed. That was a nice touch and made up for the uncertainty. The Wi-Fi worked well, the room refrigerator was super cold (almost too cold—it froze my drinks!), and the location couldn’t be better, with Walmart and a gas station right next door. My only real complaint was the spa. The first time I used it, I noticed little gnat-like bugs floating in the water once the jets were on. The next day, it looked clean, but once I turned on the heat, I ended up sitting in a swirl of dead bugs… not exactly relaxing. All in all, I’d stay here again—the quiet, convenient location, and friendly staff made it a good experience. I’d just probably skip the spa next time.
