  It's been a couple years since I reviewed it or been there so I thought I would update my rewiew. Its conveniently located off of highway NM180 east in Silver City. I am a Best Western's rewards member and the staff recognized it immediately. It's also about expectations, everyone is under staffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. The parking is easy and plentiful. The room was clean comfortable, and spacious and had a continental breakfast in the morning it has the usual good stuff of a best western where you make your own waffles and have sausage scrambled egg and fruit things like that I have to say I was very pleased that the attention the staff made to making sure breakfast food was hot plentiful and available. They also suggested a couple of nearby restaurants for both breakfast and supper. I always tip the breakfast person and housekeeping too. It's an old school way of thinking and I hope you will consider adopting it. The room's all the space I needed and a Mini refrigerator, microwave but no coffee maker. What they have now in the breakfast area is a coffee maker that makes espresso… i did a double shot and added some hot water for dark roast americana. Everything was working just fine and very clean. As I said, I was impressed with the staff and their willingness to try to help me in any way that I could. I have stayed here for up to three days while traveling. This most recent was overnight. It's an old mining town with lots of cultural assets so it's worth exploring. If they ever upgrade things I would recommend adding some grab bars even if they didn't have one bathroom at a time. Because even average seniors would benefit from grab bars. I'm not talking , totally handicapped accessible , just grab bars.

  All around great experience breakfast was decent, breakfast attendant stayed on top of it, making sure items were well stocked and kept food fresh, was very friendly, and the rest of the staff made you feel right at home, front desk was awesome, friendly, and super helpful. I highly recommend staying here. Well done Staff of SureStay.

  Rooms were so hot even after turning air down to below 70, low water pressure and ice machine on floor was not working. Also no seating other than desk chair. Desk clerk was nice but not overly friendly. Pool was out of commission and we were not alerted to that at time of booking. Were told we could walk over to one at Comfort Inn which is not acceptable. Way overpriced for quality of room and amenities.

  Pros A surprise discovery is located on the second floor, a beautiful balcony after you send some beautiful beautifully wide stairs that are carpeted and comfortable. Overall, considering the age, everything was clean. Breakfast was fine. Good water pressure in the shower, which was also very clean. Cons Neither the hot tub or the pool was functional, even though they have a huge sign that says stop in for a soak. And no text message when they wanted me to check in letting me know this wasn’t working. Lesson learned to call ahead ! Beds are OK for one night only. Room is small so expect to be on top of each other in the room.

  Front desk staff was knowledgeable, polite, and had a great professional attitude. Thanks Maddy for your help! Additionally my room was cleaned every day without me even asking which is something I always appreciate.
