Booked a king size suite via the Hilton app to visit my dying mother inlaw. After a day of travel we arrived around 630 to be told by the very nice front desk lady that they had given away our room. We were offered a lesser room that wouldn’t meet our needs for a $5 discount. At the last minute we booked a room across town instead. I complained to Hilton and after 30 minutes of phone tag, hold time, and conversation, i was given enough points for $7 off an amazon order as a consolation.

This location doesn’t honor government rate. 15 years working for Federal Highway never have I had this rate not be honored by Hilton. As a diamond member it also makes it very disappointing. Went down the street to comfort suites and they honored government rate no problem.

This hotel is HOT! They always keep the internal thermostat set to 74°F (which for some reason, feels more like 80°F.) we chose this hotel because it was the only one in the area to state it had a full fridge in the units. Once we checked in however, we found the website was incorrect and we would have to store our freezer items in the hotel breakfast freezer. Everything was in a large freezer bag which was zipped up, so despite not wanting to, we left it with the front desk after repeated assurances that we could retrieve it all in the morning. We opened our windows since the ac unit can't keep up with the heat from the hotel. The windows only open part way and then the stoppers prevent them from opening father. I didn't sleep well, as it never really got cool enough for me to be comfortable. The walls are really thin and you can hear it anytime someone walks down the hallway or is having fun in a nearby room. Also this hotel is not clean. The edges of the room were filthy. Every corner. Just disgusting.
The coffee cups in the room don't come with lids and despite being sealed individually, three of them were dirty when I opened them.
When we went to check out, we noticed some of the items from our freezer bag had been removed and mysteriously vanished. The front desk can't find them and don't know what happened to them. Including our frozen water bottles which we used for our ice. 😤
At the check out counter, Hilton has their 'guarantee', but there is no listed way to contact them. The front desk person said she left a message for her boss. 🙄
I found an 800 number, but I don't do phone calls anymore and this social media tag, so I'm using it. Basically, don't stay here. Just drive a couple more hours and stay in a real city. None of the hotels in this area have kitchens. Keep driving. Resting on the side of the road for a couple hours and then staying at a good hotel would have been a better experience. (And it was literally freezing last night.)

I haven't been this disappointed in a hotel in quite awhile.

Okay…I’m totally confused. When did a 150$ hotel room (not including tax) become the new 20$ motel room? This Hampton Inn needs an entire refresher/reno: walls in the entirety of the hotel are dirty and pealing; cosmetic mirrors are visibly missing from the bathroom walls; bathroom tile needs a deep cleaning; shoddy caulking around the bathtub. Also, I know people love their dogs more than life itself; but because we are a society who welcomes pets everywhere, our room smelled of wet dog. And even though most people enjoy the smell of wet dog, I do not. And we had a yellow jacket wasp flying around in our bathroom. Yes, you read correctly. Luckily, the staff was kind enough to move us to a different room. The positives: the staff were very friendly and helpful and professional. I recommend you research other hotels if you are in the area.

The room was somewhat dated but nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable after I jump into it, it was very high off the ground for a short person. Only issue was the wind howling either thru the window or air unit all night. Breakfast was great.
