  The first morning of our stay, the breakfast area is too small as the hotel was sold out from the night before. There was a young lady doing her best to keep the buffet stocked and she would wipe the tables clean as soon as people left a table. Numerous guests walked away from having breakfast due to no seating available. The second morning breakfast experience was disgusting. The lady attending the buffet never wiped off a table. Guests were asking her to keep up with the refills on the buffet. There were no biscuits and she said they were not having biscuits today. There was no sausage gravy. She eventually removed the gravy kettle so people would stop asking for sausage gravy. They were out of forks. They filled the fork slot with spoons. As guests came to the buffet for breakfast, every guest dug through the stack of plastic spoons looking for a plastic fork. Now every spoon has been handled by multiple guests. I can't believe there wasn't a single serve dispenser to keep the utensils sanitary. I guess COVID didn't teach this place anything about the transmission of germs. The really sad part is there was a Walmart down the street less than a mile away, yet no one was sent to purchase forks, flour, biscuit biscuit mix or something to fulfill the buffet. At one point, there was a lady manager that strolled through the breakfast area looking at the buffet and then strolled right on out. At checkout, the same manager type lady that had strolled through the buffet, was sitting behind the front desk, busy shoveling food into her mouth. Her name was Roxanna. She never asked me about my visit/stay nor did she give me a thank you for the visit. I had to ask her for a receipt as she never offered to provide me with one (she had just offered a receipt to the couple that just checked out before me). I guess she was in a hurry to get back to shoveling more food into her pie hole.

  Marla at the front desk was amazing!!! It was pretty busy as check in when we arrived but Marla got everyone including us checked in promptly! She even accommodated my request of a first floor room by the exit for my dogs, with a complimentary upgrade. We actually came here from the coyote hotel up the road as they didn’t have anything bigger than a twin available & honestly I’m glad they were full. Our room smelled good & was clean when we arrived, the bed is comfy, & the room was spacious. Cannot recommend enough when staying in Santa Fe!! Thank you Marla for such an awesome stay!

  Marla is a life saver. She was very patient answering our questions over the phone and helped us with a quick and pain free check in. Room is clean and better decorated than I expected. If I pass through Sante Fe again I will make a point to stop here. If you have pets I would recommend staying here. Staff is more friendly than I’ve encountered at other hotels in the area.

  If you care about the breakfast DON’T SAY HERE. Very substandard and lacking. The breakfast hours state 6-10. We arrived in the VERY small and crowded and LOUD breakfast area at 8am and they were out of eggs, and many of the other hot trays were empty. We asked at the desk about the eggs and she LIED and said that they were “working on it”, the eggs never came. This hotel is old and dated, staff do not speak English. Pay the extra few dollars and stay somewhere nice while in beautiful Santa Fe.

  Came for a quick two night stay with friends to go to Meow Wolf. We absolutely loved the complementary drinks in the lobby, the lengthy pool hours, and morning breakfast. It was a really good stay, and the room seemed very well cared for after our initial inspection. That was sadly proven wrong the morning we were headed out, when we were rudely awakened by a bedbug crawling across the top of my sister's blanket. It was a very uncomfortable scramble to search the room a second time for bugs. And while we didn't find a nest, we did kill a second one very quickly before we decided to take a breath, eat, pack our bags and leave. We let management know on our way out, and although they seemed a little less concerned than I would hope for, if it weren't for the bugs I would've had a wonderful time. It is quite sad. I've been here several times with family and this has never happened before.
