  As a healthcare traveler in an unfamiliar city, I came to this hotel because it was recommended by a nearby police officer. I desperately needed a safe and warm place for myself and my two small dogs after I had to unexpectedly vacate an unsafe place. I showed up at the front desk with tears in my eyes and these two angels at the front desk, Bernadine and Tiffani, immediately ensured that I safe and they were there to help. Their customer service was simply amazing!! They went above and beyond!! As a former Director of Operations in Texas, customer service is near and dear to my heart. The empathy and compassion shown to me by these two women will never be forgotten. Every staff member I encountered always presented with a wonderful attitude, pleasant conversation, and willingness to assist when needed. Lastly, the room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of options and was very tasty. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Raton, NM. Fun fact: At 19, I worked for Best Western in my hometown, Norfolk VA.

  The place is extremely clean, very modern. The people at the service desk were Amazingly Helpful, Very Kind, very warm welcome!

  Excellent service. From the Front Office Staff to the diner area, staff was friendly and professional. Food quality was excellent. Room sizes were generous and all facilities available. Highly recommended.

  I had a wonderful experience with Jared Mora, the night clerk at the Best Western. He was friendly, professional, and genuinely empathetic, which made a big difference during my stay. Jared truly looked out for me and went above and beyond by providing a replacement hygiene kit when I realized I had forgotten my personal one. On top of that, he kindly provided extra sheets and pillows without hesitation, making sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. His kindness and willingness to help did not go unnoticed. Jared is an awesome guy and a great example of outstanding customer service. Best Western is lucky to have him!

  I loved my stay at this BW Plus in Raton! So many wonderful features: motion sensor extra lighting in the parking lot, a heated saltwater pool! Inside *and outside doors, a tub! Very clean. Generous amenities. And the hotel was quiet. The queen bed was firmer than I like but I so enjoyed the rest of my stay that I will go back. Oh, the included breakfast: stellar! Good, hot food. Plenty of eggs, ham, potato’s, oatmeal, pancakes and decent coffee and hot tea, in a pleasant, well-run dining room, nicely decorated for the holidays. Cloth napkins! Every staff member I had touch with was courteous and helpful. And the price point was more than reasonable; they gave me a lot of value for my money. I also want to recommend the onsite Mulligan’s Bar & Grill, my small entree Cobb salad with grilled chicken was tasty and pretty. Again, decent prices for good food. Really enjoyed my experience. Thank you!
