  Nice rooms, small gym and exceptional pool/hot tub. My only complaint is one of the elevators and washing machine was not working while I was there.

  Upon arrival Friday evening, we had noticed that there was old toothpaste on the counter of the king bedroom as well as the plug for the sink in there was more than down and we had to call maintenance to come in and fix it the next day.  This would explain why there was toothpaste on the counter, there is no way the sink was properly clean if that is the case. We have usually dealt with small things around the rooms when we stay here such as a broken toilet, rooms not cooling down and having to change rooms but this situation was a bit much.  On Saturday, I had called down not once, not twice, but three times for sheets to be changed in the king room.  I understand now that on weekends, there is no housekeeping for over stays or however they are classified but is there not something that can be done for customers that call and request it? Trash was overflowing as well.  Upon arrival to our room at 1:30 am Sunday after we returned from the races, nothing had been done that was stated would be.  I then called down again and asked for sheets to be brought up and I was told no, I had to go down and get them.  The employee stated that he is not allowed to leave the desk, which when I got down there, he was not at the front desk.  He had no clue what to grab for us as I had to come back down to get new bedding which was still not correct as stated, he had no clue what to grab. Not to mention they lost there food license so breakfast was a joke. Very limited options and someone had to serve us our food. Sunday when I was checking out, I spoke with the employee and she informed me of the no housekeeping rules.  I told her both her and another employee in the afternoon both told me they would make it right and that was not the case.  I asked how is it handled if a customer requests new sheets and she informed me that they would have brought them up to us which back tracks what I was told by the employee from Saturday night. When spending $600 for a 2 night stay, I would expect there to be some form of service.  We had none. We will not be staying at the Staybridge in the future due to the amount we paid and the lack of service we received.

  The rooms are okay, and the location isn't terrible. We were very disappointed in the fact that they did not serve a hot breakfast. We've been staying at Staybridge Suites for many years now and they have always served a hot meal in the morning and we pay the extra for the convenience. Thankfully there was an employee there named Ethan who actually got us a discount from our fee for the inconvenience. Kudos to him.
