It is going through a major remodel and should be CLOSED DOWN during this time,NOT open to PAYING guests at over $150 a night. The floors were completely ripped up, paint pails and tools all over the place. The carpet in the room itself was absolutely disgusting. The pool and fitness center were closed and there were no working ice machines anywhere in hotel. On top of that, check in took 10+ minutes even though I had paid in full before arriving. The front desk attendant had to call his manager (something about which cc to charge the $25 incidental fee). I had trusted Holiday Inn Express as better than other budget hotels, but this was a huge disgrace.
