I stayed here with my cat while we were moving across the country, and it was a lovely respite along the way. The room was comfortable and the hotel was conveniently located. The shower in my room was missing one of its doors, so that was a little awkward... Breakfast was served earlier than stated and the selection was very good.

Rooms are old. Floors are warped or "soft" in bathroom. We just did not feel comfortable there.

Check in was great, the staff was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and joyful. A real nice change! We've stayed at quite a few hampton inns and when in the area this will be our future choice going forward. Also its very conveniently located right next to the 10 fwy and is surrounded by shops, food, walmart, and dispensaries (if that is your thing). A++ and a all around 5* experience.

The location and General Manager were awful.
Many drug addicts and homeless people around the property. It was so hard to believe. We didn't dare walk anywhere, so we had to drive.
The manager NEVER responded to ANY of our requests to speak with her while we were there. She then charged us an additional $167 after we checked out because of booking not having any more money in the VCC. Booking and the property spoke and agreed on us shortening our planned stay there, and yet she charged us an additional fee. We wanted to make sure nothing like this happened by attempting to speak with her three times, but she never got back to us while we were there. The front desk staff stated to us that she approved the change and shortened the stay on the computer. We left with a ZERO balance receipt, and yet when we were two hours away, we received an alert of this additional charge on our credit card! We still do not have this resolved, and she is of zero assistance.
Update 1/20/26: Update: The general manager’s response speaks for itself. During and after my stay, I requested a phone call from her on four separate occasions and never once received one. Despite this, she claims we had direct interaction, which is simply untrue. All communication from her has been limited to written responses, like a true keyboard warrior, where details appear to be misrepresented.
This is particularly disappointing because the front desk, breakfast, housekeeping, and maintenance staff were genuinely kind and professional. I can’t imagine how difficult it must be for them to work under leadership that avoids direct communication with guests and shifts responsibility rather than addressing concerns transparently.
Charging a guest directly instead of Booking.com and then providing inaccurate explanations is extremely unprofessional. Thankfully, Booking.com and my credit card company are actively working to resolve this on our behalf. I believe it’s important for future guests to be aware of these risks before choosing to stay at this property.
