  Checked into the hotel got into our room there was dry blood on the walls filthy dirty sheets, pillowcases and The couch was absolutely gross! I told the front desk about it and they said they’d bring up new sheets and pillowcases that never happened. Told him I wanted my money back and to leave the hotel they told me they would not refund me anything. This Holiday Inn express in Gallup, New Mexico is a filthiest hotel I have seen of all time. I recommend not Staying there!

  Well, had to stay in a hotel in Gallup, NM. For a personal family event. This is why we always do an Airbnb!!! Not much positive things to say. Our room needed alot of "touch up painting".

  Easy stop off the interstate. Fast check in. Clean and quiet.

  The most expensive hotel on our whole trip so far and the worst. Not a big deal but I asked for a king bed and the girl evidently didn’t hear me so we got a double queen so no big deal. The heater in the room is possessed as we set the temperature on 74 when we first got there as the room was very cold. In a couple hours it was getting pretty warm. Turn it down 1 degree, no change. Still cranking out the heat. Do that again and again until at 68 it finally shut off. Get ready for bed and I set it at 70. Won’t come back on. Finally at 72 it came on and we went to bed at 9 as we are from out east. At 11:30 our room is like an oven and my nightshirt is wet with perspiration. I get up and turn it down to 69 and go back to bed. 1 PM I turn it down to 68. Some time after that my wife can’t take it anymore so she gets up and turns it off. It’s now 6 AM and residual heat is too much so the wife turned on the AC. it’s getting comfortable in here now. Keep in mind we both had altitude sickness during all this. What joy. We both hate Keurig coffee so we always bring our one single coffee and heat our water so I filled two cups of water to heat in the microwave. I’ve never seen a MW that locked the door and not allow you to get in to your cup! I discovered a little later there is an unlock button. What chaos in a motel. And as in many motels you run out of Kleenex. I’ll be so glad to get the hell out of here. On the plus side the people that work here are very friendly. One more thing, not sure why we have to get salt and pepper in these little packets but this hotel has shakers on the table. A win

  Stayed here for the weekend. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly. Didn't get a chance to check the breakfast or workout room though.
