Right off the bat the front desk staff is super kind, polite, and professional. Free cookies in the lobby were a delicious and unexpected pick-me-up. Everything on the way in and up to the room is very clean and well kept. I'm not sure how they got the 2star rating because I would say this is as nice or nicer than the 3star Holiday Inn I stayed at in Moore, OK. Would recommend.

But when I'm paying good money for a hotel room when traveling, I expect a reasonable level of peace and quiet. I DO NOT expect to be forced to listen to other peoples pets bark nonstop and shame on the hotel for allowing it to go on. Not one dog or room but in multiple rooms around me. To top it off, when checking out I politely as always told the front desk girl I was checking out and what room. She tossed my printed receipt across the counter without saying a single word. To make it even better, when I went to enter it into my trip report, I discovered she gave me a receipt for a different room. Top notch operation in Gallup.
- EME MDec 18, 20255.0This was our first visit to this HIEpress. Well worth every penny. The first thing I noticed was how clean it smelled. The staff were so nice, & by chance our room was upgraded. The table to eat or enjoy coffee was nice. But a couch and coffee table especially relaxing after a long day driving from CO. So thanks. They have 2 new coffee machines that grind the beans & make a delicious cup of Costa Coffee tm. Too strong add some delious water in the hall. Everyone was so professional and friendly. On the road take time to stop in.
