My stay at the Crowne Plaza in Albuquerque was unbelievably awful. I honestly don’t know how this place is still running. Everything from the rooms to the customer service felt like a joke.
The room was depressing, outdated, and just flat-out uncomfortable. The halls were loud all night, and the walls felt like they were made of paper.
And the pool? Horrible. The water looked cloudy, the area was poorly maintained, and nothing about it felt clean or inviting. I took one look and knew I wasn’t getting in.
But the worst part of the entire stay was the management. The manager was rude, unprofessional, and completely out of line dealing with guests — especially younger ones. His attitude was dismissive, aggressive, and honestly made the whole environment uncomfortable. Instead of helping guests, he acted like we were all inconveniencing him just by being there.
The way he talked to people — especially kids and teens — was unbelievable. He came off as extremely disrespectful and clearly plays favorites with certain guests while acting cold or unfriendly toward others. It created a really hostile, unpleasant vibe.
Overall, the Crowne Plaza was an absolute disaster. I would NEVER come back here, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, not even for one night.

This place is decent. Plenty of free parking. Like if you have a trailer on your truck ect. Should be fine. Room was clean. Nice view to the west from 12th floor. Balcony was nice. Typical desert temps. Hot day cold nite. No hassles. No problems.easy off and on i-40 if passing through albuquerque. They had security patrol the parking lot all night also. They did tac on a extra 50$ damage deposit but got it back in i think 3 or 4 days. Id recommended this place.

Dated hotel. Average cleanliness, bad location (gunfire at night just off the property). Stayed the weekend with a youth sports organization and discovered there was a 3-day sex convention on property at the same time. Not sure how management thought this would be a good mix of clientele. Initially, no barriers/security between guests and convention. On our last night, management finally attempted to separate the two, also limiting where we had access to for other amenities on property. Things were seen...

This is a great hotel, because of its team of staff. Everyone is always very helpful and accommodating. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but always clean. The balconies are what nightmares are made of for someone with a fear of heights...I appreciate them and do go out and enjoy the views. There is onsight overnight security that patrols the parking lot. (anyone who knows Albuquerque knows how important this is). The Bar staff is FABULOUS, and they do a great job. The kitchen does get backed up sometimes...but the meal is decent. They will do anything they can to accommodate you. I saw them go above and beyond for requests over and over again with grace and they followed through.
Overall a good experience.
