Would give 0 if i could. Customer service is so rude and mean. Out door pool was closed in 90 degree weather. The girl at the front desk said that we were not able to use any amenities until check in time. What hotel doesn’t allow you to utilize their amenities the day you are checking in. I’d recommend any other place over this.

A surprisingly nice hotel, if a bit dated. Clean rooms. Well maintained grounds with nice outdoor areas. A very friendly and welcoming staff. A big plus is overnight parking security.
I am only here for a single night but I would have enjoyed several nights attending a weekend event.
Downside, one of the onsite dining venues is only open for breakfast during my stay, and it is hotel prices at the cantina bar.

Okay, where do I even begin? First off, the only good thing about this hotel was that the room was clean, but the shower wasn't even working—the handle was falling off! And if there's any event going on, forget about finding a parking spot. It's a big hotel, but not enough parking. The staff seemed totally overwhelmed with check-ins, too, since the line was about 100 people long. I overheard guests speaking that it took them 2 hours to check in. I will stop here! Yeah, you will say. Why didn't I just go somewhere nicer, well, I made the reservation ahead and no cancelation allowed, just FYI.

Crowne Plaza, you did me dirty! Despite booking a double queen room I was told upon check-in that I was being, "upgraded" as no double queens were available and was instead being placed into a king room...with non-operative air conditioning on the warmest day of the year so far! Thanks for nothing, Plaza! When I arrived on Pi(e) Day evening of 2026 I was put in room 905 as pictured and my room was 80 degrees despite the thermostat being set to 68, Cool and On. When I woke-up after a restless night in a hot room my room was 82 degrees with the thermostat still set to 68 degrees, Cool and On. If the thermostat doesn't work, do you even thermostat, Bro or is it just a room decoration? Placing someone in a non-A/C room is complete Bush League treatment and unbecoming of the standard service that should be provided to a paying customer, that also happens to be a veteran that served in Guam on a ship not-properly equipped for the tropics and would cause me to sweat through my coveralls by prior to muster. Worse still, when I went to the coffee station in the lobby in the morning, there was ZERO creamer, just an empty carafe to taunt me. I guess we can chalk that up to completely inattentive staff despite seeing multiple staff members aimlessly wandering around that looked completely capable of checking the creamer on occasion.
Despite all this, the hotel was in a convenient but super-sketchy area but the facade of parking lot security was on-point (even if the SecurityBrah driving the car loves to inattentively and aggravatingly obstruct traffic if you are trying to park) and the room was nicely appointed, clean and well-maintained so shout-out to the maid service. Water pressure was great, even on the 9th floor and the water was hot so high marks for that but overall, regrettable.
Update: Finally check out from this hotel. This post I was not able to upload photos.
This review pertains to our ongoing stay at the Crowne Plaza hotel, scheduled to continue through our check-out date of March 14, 2026.
Two days before our arrival, I secured a reservation at this hotel and was informed that the swimming pool would be available. However, upon check-in, I was not notified that the pool was closed, and this was not communicated at the time of booking or upon arrival.
The condition of the rooms is substandard; they are aging, with paint chipping and cracks, and the floors remain unclean, with an unpleasant odor of unknown origin. The only positive aspect of the hotel is the bed, which was comfortable.
The hotel supervisor, Charm, explained that the pool is not considered part of the hotel's amenities. She stated that the pool had been closed for two days prior to our check-in, which aligns with the period during which I booked the reservation through IHG, under the assumption that amenities such as the pool and hot tub would be available. No compensation has been offered at this time, and our current room is not eligible for a refund tonight.
The supervisor later informed me that I could check out with a full refund; however, there are no suitable alternative hotels nearby due to recent reductions in available accommodations. I am traveling for business today and tomorrow. My wife picked me up, and we chose this hotel as a temporary option since our usual hotel was fully booked. The front desk staff informed me that the hotel had failed a recent inspection and was awaiting re-inspection, which explains the closure.
I have contacted IHG corporate for further assistance, and they have indicated they will provide an update later. The supervisor offered breakfast vouchers, which she stated would cover meals from a menu provided at the restaurant (Stonestreet & Southwest Grille). These vouchers were supposed to include breakfast on March 13 and 14, 2026.
However, the restaurant staff at Stonestreet & Southwest Grille informed us that they are no longer offering breakfast from the menu and are instead serving a complimentary buffet without meat. This was disappointing, as we were promised a hot breakfast from the menu. The food quality was unsatisfactory: the eggs were severely overcooked and rubbery, the potatoes were either dry or soggy, the oatmeal was hard, and small necessities such as utensils had visible food residue. The only acceptable item was the sourdough bread.
During check-out, there was confusion about the vouchers' validity and coverage, which covered only one meal, further reducing their value.
Location: The safety of the area must be enhanced, as the location is technically unprotected. Additionally, access to the freeway is restricted due to ongoing construction and maintenance.
The hotel staff and management are not delivering services consistent with industry standards. They are failing to fulfill their responsibilities and commitments to provide appropriate accommodations for their guests.
Based on this experience, I strongly advise prospective guests to avoid this Crowne Plaza property. It would be more prudent to seek accommodations elsewhere, such as alternative hotels or Airbnb options. Typically, we choose to stay at Drury Inn & Suites in a suite, but they were fully booked at the time of our search.
