  We did not have a good stay. The room on the second floor was not clean—there was hair in the shower and a persistent bad smell from the toilet area. We don’t expect luxury at this price, but basic cleanliness should be a given. The photos are also misleading, so don’t rely on them.

  Great access to White Sands National Park. A bit dated, but clean. Decent breakfast. Excellent window coverings. Good TV channel selection. Shower and towels are just so so. Bed was comfortable. Pillows were small and squishy. Staff was friendly. Price was very good.

  To say this is the perfect little place to stay is an understatement. I had called ahead to request a downstairs for an elder. We came for a celebration of life, stayed for 2 nights,and weren't sure what to expect. When we arrived we were greeted by Windy. Check in was seamless and she was an absolutely welcomed kindness after a long journey. The following morning, Tory was helpful, professional and extremely knowledgeable of the local scene. Heidy was in charge of the breakfast and boy did she do an amazing job! All the food was hot, fresh and the area was clean! What a wonderful stay! We will be back!

  My family and I stayed for two nights. It was great the rooms were clean and cool. We had a great time. Windy was very helpful getting us checked in and letting us know where our room was, we had someone who has trouble walking and they were very accommodating. Tory was such a help during our stay, she was so very helpful and had a lot of local knowledge. The breakfast was run by Heidy, which was fantastic. My waffle was a red velvet waffel, I have never had that at a hotel it was amazing. There was such a great selection of breakfast foods, and everything had its own utensils. Overall, if I had to be in alamagordo again, it would be here.

  We had a great stay at SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Alamogordo. The location is excellent, just a short drive to White Sands National Park, which made our visit very convenient. A special shoutout to Windy at check in. She was friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome right away. Heather, the morning receptionist, was also amazing. She was kind and very accommodating. In the morning, the hotel even provided sleds, which was a fantastic bonus for enjoying the dunes. Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to stay with great service. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting White Sands.
